Fits my Leupold McKenzie binoculars which are NOTORIOUS for having a narrow space to attach an adapter to. All-metal construction makes it even better

I have twice thought one of my two adapters was attached to a shoe for a tripod head only to discover when sliding the screw into the head that the binocs were attached, but in fact the base was not ... or was only a half-thread engaged on the screw post. The threads in the Sybony look to be too deep relative to the base of the adapter, so while it is sturdy, I will have to be extra attentive. For high-value binocs, I will use a wrap or a central post adapter as I would for binocs with no screw thread option for a threaded adapter. The best idea will be to get the adapter solidly mounted on the support ( tripod or monopod etc. ) and only then to thread the adapter into the binocs.

Works great, something everyone should have. I bought this tripod bracket to use with my SvBONY SV40 10x42 binoculars. The binoculars are great, but I use them with a cell phone adapter to take images as well as visually with the binoculars when using them to observe astronomical objects at night. The first picture shows the bracket in use (along with the SvBONY smart phone adapter) to take pictures of wildlife. The second picture is using the bracket at night to view the Andromeda Nebula.

For the price you cant beat it. I use it to mount my Leupold McKenzie 10x42 onto my tripod. It fit fine, and seems to be durable. Only issue is that the binos if bumped could move side to side a little. Also was kind of hard to attach to the binos as there is not much room to allow fingers to tighten. Other then that, great product. Especially for what I need.

I bought this for large aperture roof prism binoculars because space is very tight for this type. It works on some of those, but not for others. Threads are too long to be screwed in completely on Bushnell Trophy Xtreme. I had to cut the threads short by quite a lot so it can be tightened. Comparing to Barska and Vanguard, those feel better in hand, but they don't fit the binoculars I intend to use.Update (Aug 27, 2016): I tested the screw itself on Trophy Xtreme, the threads can get in completely now after trimming. However, it still requires some effort to tighten. I wonder if it is because of lacking of a rubber washer.

The build quality is good but the small knob is to difficult to get a grip on and tighten against my Celestron 25x70 binoculars. The adapter just couldn't be tightened enough to prevent movement.3/23/16The seller did contact me to try and address the problem but it could not be resolved so they refunded the purchase price and let me keep the adapter.Kuddos to their customer service people.

I bought one of these to replace the adapter that comes with my Celestron 15x70 binoculars as that one was quite wobbly. This unit is metal. It is very thin in the upper portion and I believe as a result, the 3+ pound binoculars oscillate just a bit when disturbed. Better than the adapter that came with the glasses as it was delivered to me, but not perfect. Lighter glasses might be have better.I tried a suggestion with my original adapter and filled the voids in it with 2-part epoxy and now that adapter is rock solid. The finish on this piece is quite good considering the price and if I have a complaint it is that the 1/4" threads tapped into the base start fairly deep and as a result I can only get about 1 turn of my Ravelli tripod head's mounting screw into it before it is tight. That is not very reassuring.

This is the part u want , if u want light weight, strong forever lasting piece for your binoculars. My first impression was , Yes this is exactly what I'm looking for. It is a aluminum body and the knob and threads are non magnetic too but not plastic. Has a rubber pad on the bottom and is well balanced as u can see in the pics . No plastic at all !Overall a perfectly priced purchase for under 10 bucks . U won't be disappointed.HH

Very good quality with one design flaw, the only way to tighten is by hand. On a Vortex diamondback 10x50 binoculars very hard to attach, I thought I would attach it and then not remove it, but unable to tighten it fully; not enough space to tighten with your fingers. All it needs is a standard hex wrench slot in the tightner or even a slot for a flat head screw drive. The design is slim enough that it does not affect the range of the binocular movements. Too bad didn't work for me, sending it back.
