If you don't have this SVBONY brand of Spotting Scope don't buy this. If brand of Spotting Scope doesn't make a adaptor that your looking at, look for and buy different brand. They don't play nice with adaptors. Telescope may be different I don't have a telescope. I bought another SVBONY adapter it will probably fit a telescope. The shipping for us regular people is half what these adapter pieces cost. These are metal pieces and should hold up. If you need adapter for what you got might try getting a rubber plumbing piece that has clamps, good luck. I did look at this Brand Spotting Scope before I ordered this piece. "Repeat" If you don't have this SVBONY brand of Spotting Scope don't buy this.

When the camera, adaptor and scope are all connected it feels solid so it will be possible to use the scope to view and capture images and video with the camera attached. Hoping to get some exposures of the stars and planets on holiday. Pleased that this does work with my Svbony SV46 spotting scope

This well made adapter fits perfectly with the Nikon SLR D850 and D300s. The scope by SBVONY is very well made, and I recommend it highly,also. The follow-up service is excellent. They made the combination work very well the first time.
