My husband and I have a weekend/vacation home with a moderately stocked kitchen. We have all of the necessities but not all of the "might need on occasion" items. A pizza cutter was missing from our inventory.I saw this cute and colorful Swing & Self-Standing Pizza Cutter Wheel and decided it would work well at the cabin. We often stop by our favorite pizza place on the way in and grab a pizza to go. By the time we arrive at the cabin and unload the car, the pizza has cooled, and the cheese has melted together. We needed a knife to separate the already cut pieces. The Swing & Stand cutter did a great job re-cutting the slices and was much safer than using a knife. We have also used the cutter on raw dough, flat bread, and pastries. It has a sharp blade, but because the entire product is plastic, I don't think it could cut thick crust pizzas and the like, as the pressure needed may break the cutter--again, it "might" not work. I have not used it on thick or tough items. For our purposes, it is working as intended.

Disclaimer: This review is of a product provided to me for free, however this review will contain my complete honest opinion and personal experiences.--Does what it's supposed to. It's impressive, despite being plastic, how well it cuts things including pizza. However, it could never be as sharp as a metal cutter. Though this could also be seen as a good thing as it is easier to use and clean without worrying about cutting yourself.

You can tell from the pictures that it’s all plastic. What you can’t tell is that it’s ALL plastic. I mean, every bit of it…plastic. It looks cute and I guess would get you by in a pinch, but honestly, spend just a few more dollars and get one that’s made of metal. At least it’ll have a fighting chance. For what it’s worth, this cuts okay and survived a trip through the dishwasher, but you can do better. Oh, and as for the free standing claim, it kinda works, but it’s not much of a feature and it’s pretty wobbly.

I ordered this little rotary pizza cutter for use in our home kitchen. I like that the plastic blade doesn't damage the non-stick surface of our pizza pan as much as a metal blade. I like how it stands up on the counter so it doesn't take up much counter space and keeps the blade clean. The one issue I found is that the wheel does not get into the space directly adjacent to the rim of our pizza pan because the radius of the cutter is much larger than the radius of the pan lip. I won't lower the rating due to this because I know that this is not a failing of the cutter and our pan is a bit unusual in that most pizza pans have little or no rim. So I will rate this cutter five stars for being compact to store, standing upright on the counter, and not scratching non-stick pans. Five stars.

Great value. You get 2 pizza cutters. Not dishwasher safe. Plastic wheel does not look sharp enough to cut through pizza without extreme force. While it feels more ergonomic than a traditional pizza cutting tool, the extra effort may cancel that out.

I didn't want a pizza cutter that could even remotely scratch the surface beneath it. This was a perfect solution.

Cuts better than expected for being plastic. It’s also easy to hold and use. I like that it does balance with cutter up when not in use. There’s also little risk of cutting yourself compared to a steel cutter. Hand cleaning was also fine. You can remove the disc cutter. To clean the body, you’d need more of a brush to get in there. For around $6, it’s certainly worth it especially if you have kids
