I have a bug zapper that is plugged in to an outlet up in the eaves. This is perfect for putting the switch in easy reach. It's well made, waterproof and has a nice switch on it. Lots of mount points for the switch housing means that you can mount this however you want. Very nice unit.

Nice switch for my garage light over my work bench. Easy to set up and mount - has a nice sturdy feel to the switch. Highly recommend for an easy upgrade to turning on/off anything you plug into it.

This extension cord with the on/off switch has become a must-have for me. I use it to power my desk lamp and monitor, and the switch makes it incredibly easy to turn everything off at the end of the day without having to reach for the wall outlet—a major plus. The waterproof design gives me peace of mind, especially since I sometimes use it outdoors when I'm working on my car; it's been great so far. The LED rocker button is also a nice touch, making it easy to see if the power is on or off. I would say that the cord's length is prety good, too. 💡 This is definitely one of those products that makes life a little easier, and I highly recommend it.

This device allows you to add a switch to anything plugged into an AC outlet. Simple to use, just plug in this cord then plug the device into the back of the plug end of the cord. You can now operate That device with the switch.In my case I have a light in my basement that I have to plug into an outlet to turn the light on. It's a low light area so always difficult. I installed this in between the light plug and the outlet and I now just turn the switch on and off. Very convenient.The components are well made and have waterproof connectors at the switch end giving me confidence that if I splash something on there it won't harm the switch.The only drawback I see is the actual cord is only a couple feet long so you can only mount the switch in a location close to the outlet. If it had a 6 ft cord I would have given this 5 Stars.

This switch saved so much effort and work. We installed a garbage disposer on a farm style single sink. There was no wired electrical outlet with a switch on the island counter. We thought of wifi plug or air switch, which did not fit in the hole on the counter. Then I remembered this piggyback switch exists. The extension of 3ft was sufficient under the sink. We plugged in this and the disposer, with the switch mounted next to the door. Done. The switch is illuminated, waterproof, large, and smooth-operating. Reliable.Love the overall design. Wiring is 14awg with 20A load current is perfect for all usual tools and appliances. This switched extension is also useful for hair appliances, garage tools on a bench, or anything for quick disconnect. There are so many uses for such a switch.

This is a heavy duty, very robust, switched outlet adaptor suitable for use with common shop tools like table saws, bench grinders, planers, etc. The heavy wires employed in construction can handle 20A at 120V and 16A art 250V. While you CAN . There are two tabs with provided wood screws for mounting to a wall or because this for switching a floor lamp or other low current device it would be gross overkill.The switch mechanism operates very smoothly and is illuminated with an LED and also has an integrated waterproof boot for use in humid locations or outside application. With a one-meter cord it is best to mount it close to or above the power outlet closed to the equipment you will be switching on and off. The machine power cord plugs into the piggyback plug.I like the use of a piggyback plug because it would be easy to move this to different pieces of equipment in a shop, basement or garage workshop. For example, if a project will be using a table saw for a few days, this might be easier than reaching down under the table to operate the power switch. You could then move it to another piece of equipment that would be used for several days.I will leave this connected to a table saw for the reason mentioned above. The switch on the saw is beneath the table, sometimes awkward to reach when making many cuts or passes. That switch has a pull-out disconnect/lock which I can STILL use when I am changing the blade, etc., for assured safety. Then I can turn the saw switch on and use this switched extension for convenience.I can envision times when I may move the extension to another machine for convenient operation.

This Polyenergy pigtail switch cord is really well made. The box for the switch is made of thick plastic, the cord and plug set are c-UL listed, and the cord is 14 AWG 3 conductor, with a 105c rating. I was curious about the switch so I opened the box and found that the switch is listed too, and is rated for 20 amps at 125 VAC. The switch has no motor horsepower rating, so it's a guess whether it will stand up to starting a decent sized motor for long, but for small motor loads or non inductive loads it should last a long time.I checked it using a multimeter and found that the hot side of the line is switched, and the neutral and ground are passed through the plug,It isn't rated for motor loads, but other than that it's a nicely built, high quality switched cord set at a decent price.
