Genuine Switchcraft tip is included. Pre-tinned lugs for easy soldering. Comes with one nut. Thread height 7/32" (5.56mm) Requires 1/2" (12.70mm) mounting hole diameter Required body cavity depth 1-1/2" (38.10mm) Note: 1. Guitars with shallower slab bodies, such as PRS and Epiphones should use a short frame toggle switch. 2. Due to the thickness of carved top guitars, a deep nut may be required to thread the switch through the body of the guitar. The deep nut is NOT included with this switch but may be purchased separately.

This is a perfectly fine switch, but it didn't fit in my guitar and I had no way of knowing that from the information provided in the product description. Also, there are no instructions at all. I had to use an ohm-meter to determine what wires should be connected to which terminals on my own. It would be really easy to mess up your guitar wiring if you don't take the time to map out a wiring diagram. The switch itself is well-built and I'm sure it would have been an upgrade over my existing switch if it had fit in my guitar.

Bought it for a build I did on my Les Paul. Fit perfectly no issues, super easy to wire up. Had to buy the Switchcraft DEEP NUT KNURL to make it fit the Les Paul body. No fault of the switch or seller just something I didn't know I needed. Excellent and would buy again.

Bought two of these to replace in my Gibson Les Paul Standards. Switch raft is pretty much the accepted top quality brand for guitars, and these did not disappoint. I easily soldered them to the wires the way my ok’d switches had been, and they work perfectly.

Watch the wire location. The largest lug is ground. The output jack wire goes to the smaller two posts on the opposite side and the wires going to the pots are probably opposite of what you're used to. Just use a test lead to figure that out. My pictures show the dimensions of the long and short Switchcraft 3-way toggles. You may need to cut out some cavity in order for them to fit. They are sturdy and large. Awesome product.
