THIS SCANNER IS A PIECE OF JUNK. IT DOES NOT SCAN ACCURATE. WHEN SCANNING BARCODES IT DOESN'T SCAN THE FULL BARCODE. THEN AT OTHER TIMES IT WILL. YES I HAVE BEEN THROUGH ALL OF THE CONFIGURATIONS. AT THE END OF THE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. STICK WITH HONEYWELL IT IS A BETTER COMPANY FOR SCANNERS. I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT. I HAVE USED IN THIS PRODUCT IN THE PAST AND IT WAS GREAT. BUT NOT ANYMORE. IF I COULD GIVE THIS NO STARS I WOULD. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM.

ordered 2 of these for my business in October of this year and I had to return 1 a week after I bought it and now the new one they sent has gone out as well... will not be ordering these again!!

This is an overall good quality barcode scanner with many options for connectivity. The main ones are the 433MHz wireless mode (from scanner to receiver) + USB (from receiver to computer), or Bluetooth (from scanner to phone).Unfortunately I just could not get the 433 MHz mode to work with a Mac computer. I spent half an hour figuring out why the barcode scanner was giving me 3 beeps every time I scanned a bar code after setting it up. I had no idea what flashing green on the receiver meant, becuase per the instructions, a single beep after connecting the receiver to the computer via USB means everything should be set up correctly. But it wasn't. I tried a second Mac and it was the same issue. I then tried a PC and voila, it worked. The receiver is a solid green instead of a flashing green, and the PC was seeing those barcode reads properly! For some reason, 433 MHz + Mac just does not work. The product photos show the bar code scanner connected via USB to a MacBook so it's supposed to work??The Bluetooth mode is much easier to set up and use, luckily.The manual is pretty good, and is essentially a book of bar codes used to configure and customize the barcode scanner. It's pretty thorough, and while it does explain the LED on the barcode scanner itself, it does not explain the LED on the receiver. If it did I wouldn't have needed to spend so long to figure out there was some issue there.

I don't leave to many reviews, but this barcode scanner earned one. It works great easily reads any barcode that you need to scan, and has great battery life. A top notch scanner.

Purchased to scan in our student attendance (a bar code generated by the Lacai database we use), works very well; love the small size, makes more convenient to carry.
