If you have any steering deflection here is your answer. After all the suspension mods and bigger tires. Don’t forget this.

Bolts in well. Seems solid. Haven’t had it long enough to know how durable it is, but past experience with Synergy leads me to believe it will hold up well.

I installed this brace at the same time as a PSC big bore steering gear box. Went in super easy and is a big upgrade in strength for the track bar.

2011 Jeep Wrangler, 85,000 mi developed ‘death Wobble’ Spent $1000 on rebuilding the front end, tie rods, track bar, etc.it’s an engineering issue, this extension to the frame, is like a ‘diving board’ a flex point that allows the axle to move laterally. At speeds over 65 mph hit a bridge joint, pot hole any bump would cause the ‘Death Wobble’After this was installed, only change made. Bumps are just bumps again.I’ve hit bumps at over 70 mph that would have caused server Death Wobble. Live in Utah speed limits up to 80 mphThe front end, never felt this solid. Very happy !!Nov. 21 Update,Still happy with the results, the front end is much stiffer. On a occasion I have experienced the wobble, 75 mph hit potholenot as violent, only needed to slow down to 60 mph for it to go away.Over sized tires with 2.5” Lift

Pros: Very heavy 1/4" thick plate Powder coating is thick and durable Oversized trackbar bolt holes to use with wallowed out frame holes, and oversized trackbar bolt provided This item is so good, Jeep should install them on all of their Jeeps at the factory! Best fit is with Oversized Monster (TeraFlex) or Yeti trackbars with the oversized 9/16" trackbar bushing sleeves.Cons: If you plan to use it on 2012 or later models with the factory trackbar, you must use the 14mm factory sized trackbar bolt provided, it is longer than the factory bolt, but will be small and have about 0.013" play if used with a HD trackbars that have 9/16" ID bushings. Best bet is to use SYNERGY'S trackbar, or TERAFLEX Monster, STEER SMARTS Yeti with oversize bushing sleeves. Expensive, but worth it! It will fit, but it is a tight fit between frame and coil spring. It takes some finagling and holding your mouth right. Don't give up, it will fit. I'm 66 years old, and installed with the Jeep on the garage floor no lift, no jack stands. Synergy supplies a 3.25" long 9/16"-13 NCT bolt, the one on the right in my picture. I used a Grade 8 9/16"-18 NFT bolt. It had a longer shoulder, so no threads cutting the Trackbar bushing, and fine threads are stronger too. My frame holes were wallowed just a tad, so I had to use an old used and abused 9/16" reamer I had. I put a TeraFlex Monster HD Trackbar that has the 9/16" ID bushing in it on too. Factory trackbar bushing were shot. In the pictures I have the Jeep on a jack stand on the right side, I was putting JKS trackbar axle brace on that end of the track bar. It has to be welded on. I put the trackbar on just to make sure it would work with both after market braces. It does. So it will come off, I will clean and paint, then grind weld surfaces, weld on axle brace and repaint.Make sure you torque all the bolts to the specs Synergy lists. I did with a 1/2" drive Craftsman torque wrench, with the Jeep flat footed on the garage floor, and both wheels on. It can be done. If you do jack the Jeep up to mount the brace, be sure to FINAL torque the bolts with the suspension fully loaded wheels on the floor, so the trackbar is in the right position. As others have stated with a Monster HD trackbar you will have about 1/8" clearance between the bottom through frame bolt head and the trackbar. With TERAFLEX'S Monster HD adjustable trackbar, my trackbar didn't touch until I lifted the trackbar on the axle side all the way up to the frame. See picture with trackbar held up with orange ties. It barely touched even then. Please bare in mind, my JK has no lift, it is stock suspension. If you have a lot of lift, I don't know if you would have full articulation with a heavy duty track bar. It might take grinding the head of that bottom through frame bolt just a tad after torquing. I also beefed up the axle end of the trackbar with a after market brace. Synergy makes one, as does JKS and other. Some need to be welded on, mine did. YMMV. The trackbar takes a lot of stress and strain, if you upgrade your trackbar from the wimpy factory one, I highly recommend you install this brace, and one on the axle end of the trackbar. The factory mounts are thin and weak, and once rusted and stressed with lifted and oversized tire Jeeps they will fail. The factory mounting holes will get wallowed out.

Just installed. Research if you will need a Synergy or similar design track bar.Other than that it is a pain to put in, it seems like that helps it stay very rigid. Very well constructed and the directions were very easy to follow. In all, I feel better about my 2016 JKU Rubi running 37’s and not have a major failure on the trail.

After I installed a new currie rockjock44 I started to have death wobble. I already had new synergy balljoints, synergy draglink flip, hd tie rod. Only part that was still stock was the track bar. Replaced the track bar with a new adjustable one and put in all new track bar bolts. I was still having death wobble. I bought an ace track bar brace, but the mounting holes were oversized and it did nothing to cure my death wobble. Bought the synergy track bar brace and not only is it beefy (compared to the flimsy stock bracket), the mounting holes are the proper size and it comes with the proper sized track bar bolt. The synergy brace instantly cured my death wobble. As stated in other reviews, if you have a wallowed out stock track bar frame bracket (which I noticed upon install of the synergy bracket that my stock one was wallowed out) this product will fix that.
