I bought a silicone mat & cut it up to size of the resisters to add an extra layer of protection from heat exposure & zip tied them to keep the silicone in place. Also, I added the silicone grease that came with the LED’s & wrapped the connectors with a good amount of electrical tape to make sure water doesn’t get in between the connection preventing possible rust. The LED’s work perfectly & hope they stay that way. Worth the price & effort. No hyper flashing!

Lights are bright and plug and play. The built in resistor will produce heat so keep it away from anything that could possibly melt over time. This is not an issue for me but it may be a deal breaker for other Jeep owners. When the turn signal is activated they will blink 3 times rapidly rather than the regular 1 blink. Only other way to describe it would be like construction/service trucks. I have not seen other reviews mention anything about this so I will assume it’s something with jeeps specifically. (Unless my lights are defective) 10/10 would buy again

I bought these for my 2023 Crosstrek and it work perfectly!! At first i was not sure, because all the light are control by the BCM. They are really easy to install and the built-in resistor does'nt seem to become very hot. I did'nt take any chance and put far away of any plastic. Just in case. Now let's see how long they're gonna last!!

So I first saw these bulbs when Bullet Solano from YouTube installed them in his 2018 Toyota RAV4 at the time. I thought it would be a nice upgrade to my car along with the LED headlights I had installed. They functioned as regular amber turn signals in the daytime and switched back between white and amber and white an amber in the night-time when you engage your turn signals.Recently, after running the first version of these bulbs for 2-3 years (maybe?), I had my car start hyperflashing and I thought it might have to do with these bulbs because they are exposed to the environment. They don't plug back in like if you were to install regular halogen bulbs. The switchback LEDs plug into the headlight housing, but the end plugs into your cars socket and hangs out of the headlight housing. When I checked them to see if they might have been the cause for hypeflashing, I found that, not only were the ends of the bulbs RUSTED, but also the INSIDE of the socket where they plug into!Later, I found out that the hyperflashing was actually from my rear turn signals from SIRIUS LED that were causing the hyperflashing. The drivers side rear turn signal was strobing when the turn signals were engaged. Replaced them and the hyperflashing went away. HOWEVER, I wasn't going to continue running the switchback LEDs with the rust forming and potentially causing me an EXPENSIVE repair down the line.I'm not electrician, so I looked up how to remove rust from the bulb ends and the sockets they plug into and found that white vinegar and baking soda could be used to remove the rust. Also, I looked up how to prevent rust from electrical sockets exposed to the environment and found that silicone grease is used to cover the metal contact points in exposed electrical stuff to prevent rust and corrosion since silicone grease cannot be removed by water, alcohol, and other stuff listed in its packaging. So I gathered all the materials I needed and the total time it took me to get everything done was around 30-45 minutes. I started by unplugging the negative terminal of the cars battery and then used the mixture of white vinegar and baking soda with a pipette cleaner to brush and remove the rust from the sockets. I then applied a COPIOUS amount of silicone grease I got from Menards to the inside of the sockets where the bulbs plug in to AND the ends of the bulbs themeselves, to hopefully prevent rust and corrosion from happening again.I then plugged the new switchback LEDs in to test them and found out that they have been changed! The new version of these switchbacks still function as regular amber turn signals in the daytime, but when you have the accessory lights on (to simulate driving at night because I installed them during the day), the turns signals go from steady white to amber, and stay amber until you make your turn or disengage the turn signal.Although I liked the transition from white to amber to white to amber from the first version of these bulbs, the new ones are much better to help make the turn signals more visible, especially if you have bright LED headlight bulbs as well. They blended in with the headlights and it was kind of hard to see the turn signals unless you're really paying attention, which you never know if someone else on the road really is paying attention or not. Also, when going to clean up after prepping and installing everything I found out that they include silicone grease in the box already! Although it's not enough for me personally, since I literally CAKED my sockets and the end of the bulbs woth grease to really make sure rust never happens or returns, it's more than enough to give a protective coating for use and exposure to the elements. Another thing to mention, when I went to see if I could salvage the old switchbacks I was running before, I tried to brush the rust off with the white vinegar and baking soda mixture from the end of one bulb and brushed off a piece of the metal that makes contact with the inside of your socket! It's a good thing I replaced them even though they were not the cause of hyperflashing. It's nice that Synetica USA pays attention to their audience to see how they can improve upon their products! The new version of these switch back LEDs are great and I will come back to this after the winter to provide an update. I'm happy I was able to get the rust out and install these before any serious damage occurred from the rust and before the winter too.I would highly recommend these as a "unique" upgrade to your car, as long as you don't mind the socket hanging from the headlight housing instead of being plugged into the headlight housing, and being exposed to the environment. It's a little JACKED that you have to do extra work to make sure they don't rust, but they have now provided you with all the materials you would need to prevent rusting IN THE FIRST PLACE. I personally like the upgrade enough to run them in my car.Hope this helps anyone looking at these bulbs. Take care.

The lights are bright and and provide white DRL and amber brinkers in one nice package. The rubber gasket on the bulb is nicely designed and fits snuggly in my application. Both the amber and white lights are nice and bright. The two lessons I learned with the installation of these bulbs:1) Do not use hazards to test the bulbs. At least in my car - hyperflashing only occurs with the turn signals and only after the first three flashs.2) Polarity Matters - for hyperflashing. The bulbs will work when testing without issues no matter what way the the polarity is. Yet the hyperflashing will only occurs when the wiring inserted in one direction. It would be nice if the seller marked the ground terminal on the bulb plug. The aluminum housing for the resister does get warm.Long term failure rate is yet to be determined.

Overall, this is a very high quality and durable product. It works with signal lights on 2017 Toyota Rav4, without hyperflashing. The only thing that is not up to par, imho, is the size of the included resistors. They triple the length of the led build assembly. It is more of an inconvenience to hide and tie the resistors to the metal car parts. Super bright 6000k (super bright white) and 2200k (amber) ćswitch back led bulb for turn signals. Worked perfectly and would definitely recommend produc and seller.
