Great server/AV rack. Knocking 1 star only because the instructions are a bit lacking as well as one of the side panels had its bottom rail pretty bent (no damage on the box that I could see). I had to straighten it out with some pliers so I could install.Lastly, the castor wheels are definitely a semi afterthought as they are a bit rough to rotate even without any weight inside of the rack.

We purchased the 22U model to hold both IT and AV equipment. We found it to be well made and sturdy. It has several features that sold us on it: ventilated doors and sides, removable sides, fans, and included trays and power strip. The real glass door adds security, along with the locking sides. Removable panels at the top and bottom give nice places for cable access. Something else that leaned us toward purchasing this enclosure was the mounting slots on the back--we felt like having holes/slots in the back of the rack itself was better than a bar that would act as a cleat. For us it worked much better, especially for a cabinet of this size. Like others, our side door latches were damaged in shipping, but Sysracks customer service was great to work with and sent us new ones immediately. We would definitely recommend them and this rack enclosure product.

I needed a fast solution for a client that was, "running before they could walk." This unit showed up in a box that was extra secure. I had no need to worry about bent or broken pieces, which was a plus. I assembled the unit in thirty minutes and began racking within an hour. The unit's sheet metal is flimsy in pieces but once built it feels solid. The only issue I have is with how flimsy the door feels. To be clear, this unit is easily broken into. Ensure you are placing this device behind a secure door. If your client requires higher-end security then look elsewhere.

I used this to put my home theater equipment: Av receiver, PlayStation etc and it works great. I just wish they had options with only black without the red, and make it easier to find extra tablets but appart from that is works great

I got the 18U unit. Let me tell you - FedEx will try NOT to deliver to a residence if they see stairs. They will drive past saying failed attempt lol (DOES NOT AFFECT SELLER OR PRODUCT RATING)CONS: the front door is kinda closing from right to left with a bit of a slant, but still closes and locks. 2 plastic pieces were broken, but I imagine this to be what protects the spring hinge pins from damaging the packaging. I also got 1 screw with red threadlocker but don't see where it goes. Also there was a small piece of dried orange peel between the inside box and foam sheet XDPROS: Took me about 5 hrs to check since FedEx just dropped it off - I wanted to make sure they didn't salt my fries - but the packaging was all good. Nothing bent or missing. Nothing broken that relates to the product itself. Appears to be sturdy. No holes were cross threaded as you get self-tapping screws for assembling the frame, meaning if you cross threaded it's your own fault :) The manual did say to search youtube for install video but the videos didn't line up for this unit (compared to 3rd party videos posted), but the manual itself was fine. Since I have this in casters, I built everything upside down until it was time to put on panels and door.I'd recommend this product.

I've dealt with a few flat pack cabinets, and it's not my first rodeo with Sysracks. I'm pretty sure that they have upped their game in packaging; the box mine arrived in has padded corners and reinforced sides. All panels were padded in sheet foam to avoid contact with one another and the glass door was toward the middle of the stack, nice and safe. Everything arrived in one piece, no issues.I'm honestly a little mystified by reviews that complain about lack of instructions. It goes together in 20 minutes by mild application of some logic (cable entry brush plates go in the back) and some mild twisting of a cross tip screw driver. Bonus points if you check your progress with a carpenter's square, but it squares itself. Which part goes where is blindingly obvious from looking at the parts. If something looks like it might accept a bolt and a nut because you can see through it, that's where the bolt and nut go. I'm not a rocket surgeon but worked it out all on my own with zero fuss. Some hints and a few minor niggles not worth deducting a star over. Those little teardrop shaped rubber doodads that are rolling around in the shipping box and hiding in the crannies of the panels... you need those. They're responsible for making the side panels shut up. Once you pull them through their grommets, the side panels don't vibrate. The door... different story. There's a tiny bit of play between the lock bar and the frame member it engages with. The front door rattles. A little wad of electric tape or self stick felt solves it.I'm hanging mine, so I can't speak to whether or not the bolts for the casters are included. That leads me to my second niggle. Wall mounting an 18U cabinet and getting it level is never exactly fun, but it's a lot less un-fun when the manufacturer uses a French cleat type system rather than keyed holes. Sysracks chose to incorporate keyed holes, probably because of the amount of weight the cabinet is rated for. Sysracks would have gained cool points if they'd included a mounting template, but that's 5 minutes with the cardboard it came in, some painter's tape, and a sharpie.Mine's going onto a concrete wall in a narrow space, so unless I tapcon a ledger board on, it won't be a party at all to hang this beast solo, even with doors and panels stripped. Luckily, it does come with feet and casters, along with a generous accessory pack, so it can sit on the floor if I get tired of wrangling with the wall mount. Overall, this is a great cabinet with useful design features and a solid accessory pack. VERY pleased.

Instructions were terrible but if you’ve built one before it’ll go together fairly easy.
