We did not unpack this product for 6-7 weeks as the walls for the location weren't ready. Upon opening the package, we discovered the boards were warped and the frame was damaged and bent. The color description was also way off. We thought we were getting a grey stain but the boards were black. We were trying to be economical but we got what we paid for which was an inferior product that nothing can be done with. The boards will make nice firewood and we will just toss the frame which I hate doing but it has no use for anyone.

Door looks ok but you better have some skills. Door stops will not fit due to bolt heads sticking out had to make some, floor glide will put door out too far from wall had to buy one that works, rails too long had to cut them, holes don’t line up with studs had to drill new ones and directions are useless only shows pictures and the hardware don’t match up with pictures wish I would have spent more and got a better quality door.

Very first the seller needs to change the description about the frame being stainless steel. It is, in fact, dark anodized, extruded aluminum. The frame being 1 3/4" thick makes the door thickness seem greater, even though the boards are only about 3/4" thick. 4 or 5 of the boards were warped so badly as it took much force to get them to fit in the frame slot. Two of them cracked from being forced flat. Only every third board had holes drilled to hold the frame tight to the boards, and they were not countersunk. I drilled the rest. The fasteners at the corner brackets were also not countersunk. I bought all stainless hardware to match the rest of my hardware. It complicated the installation because the roller brackets bolted through the door rather than attach to the top frame. The picture in the advertisement shows a double roller bottom guide. I took a picture of the one shipped. It’s a cheap plastic center guide requiring a slot in the bottom of the door. Worthless. Also pictured is the one I will install.

I love the way this door turned out. Pieces shipped well and seem sturdy. Assembly was easy and install went smooth. Not the best instructions included but it wasn’t too difficult to figure it all out. Thankfully I have a handy husband.

This door was awesome and just perfect for my project/ remodel. Looks great and good quality. Only bad thing it’s not easy to put together but manageable. Definitely would recommend and buy again.

We are very happy with this purchase. We like the door design and industrial look. Another deciding factor was knowing the wood is from Canada, not China. The wood looks and feels like good quality, and we love the color! The door was easy to put together. It is heavy which makes it a nice, solid, sturdy door. We had one issue with a hole being offset on one of the brackets so we originally installed using only 3 screws on that bracket. Thankfully the seller sent 2 new brackets so we were able to replace the bad one. My husband did a great job installing it perfectly level so it rolls smoothly and easily. It is exactly what we needed to cover our laundry room doorway. I highly recommend this barn door!
