Perfect gift for a boy who loves a good dagger! Thankfully, it is not sharp, so it will cause no injury.

This dagger is beautiful, heavy, and a great prop for an outfit OR to display in your home. I wore it for a Halloween Costume and it now sits on my bookshelf with my Throne of Glass series.

It is always interesting to read reviews..they cover everyone's personal taste and scrutiny. This Medieval Knife is a great buy for the money. I did not know what to expect after reading the reviews and you will have the same problem after ready this one. This knife is for decorative and costume purposes, however, it is very will made and its metal parts are well casted. I was extremely pleased. For those expecting a full fledged dagger for less that 20 bucks have other issues with assessing value. It's a great buy for visual needs..not going to war. ;-)

I bought this as a prop for a Halloween costume. It is perfect! The detail on the hilt and the sheath is beautiful and I love the red glass in the hilt. I did notice that the piece of the hilt that has the red glass can rotate, but it does not seem like it could come loose and break off (at least not without some force). The blade does smudge after being touched, but it cleans up easily with just a little bit of wiping off. Overall I really like it!

First, as many reviewers have noted, this is not as described. The pommel is a roughly similar theme, but lacking the void space and having a red gem(probably cheap plastic or glass) in the center. But the hit decoration is a five pointed start, not the celtic knot as in the picture. I actually prefer the design I got since it will be for ritual use and this decoration is more appropriate. That said, the disconnect between the ad and item is a negative.I was expecting better craftsmanship tbh. Nothing stellar, but I expected the basics done a bit better than what we have here. There's no edge, at all, not even a dull one. Just a flat of steel, pretty much as sharp as the backside of a single bladed chefs knife. If you want this sharp, you're going to be spending a lot of time shaping this into an edge before you can even start the sharpening process proper. That could make for a nice project as a middle ground between buying a ritual knife and making one from scratch, though. Running my finger along the "edge" found some uneven spots, like the die they use to stamp these out has started falling apart a little but not quite enough to stop the line. Nothing astoundingly bad, but this is such a basic design I was hoping it could be implemented a little better, even at this price. The handle could be a touch larger, but I'm also 6' with appropriately large hands. A more average size person may find the handle length ideal or even a touch big. While there are imperfections, overall build quality does seem reasonably solid and it's better than a smaller and similarly priced dagger I got from Wish.Note that while not remotely sharp, the point probably could do some damage. You won't slice anyone with this, but carelessness could lead to a nasty stabbing.Overall, it's not bad for the price and I'm happy with my purchase. If you need a dull ritual blad(or are willing to do a *lot* of work to sharpen), or a wall hanger, it's not bad. Perhaps a costume piece where sharp blades can't be used. Just don't expect to cut anything or for it to pass a hands on inspection.

This is overall a nice product. It's very clearly a prop (the blade edges are not sharp, they are flat and dull) but it is a nicely made prop. It's not too heavy to be annoying but not so light that's it's cheesy. My only issue with this is that it does NOT look like the picture - instead of a Celtic knot design on the handle, it has an unpside down star, the top does not have a Celtic cross, and it has a cheesy little gem in it. I was a little dissapointed, as I chose this product specifically for the Celtic theme. However, it is still a nicely made prop, and I don't have time to return it, so in the end I am not too upset to have to keep it.

One does not purchase an $18 dagger thinking they will receive a high quality blade. But with the SZCO Supplies Celtic Dagger, this is what you can expect. The grip and main part of the scabbard are molded plastic. Despite what other reviews have said, the leather texture is not over pronounced, and the seams are finished to a (nearly) smooth finish. So, either the company has improved their product, or the reviewer is commenting on a different dagger. The blade is steel—unsharpened and most likely of a lower quality than you would get on a higher priced blade. The pommel, cross-guard, and the chape & locket on the scabbard are metal. It says they are pewter and I am willing to accept that. They certainly have that appearance, anyway. The blade is held secure in the scabbard and does not fall out even when held upside down and shaken. The celtic design is lovely and it has a nice (fairly) balanced weight. However, this is definitely not meant to be used for anything other than a prop or decoration piece, but it will fulfill that purpose well. If you want a cutting blade, look elsewhere and expect to pay a higher price. (I doubt this knife could even open an envelope cleanly).
