1st off, it's super heavy! You wouldn't think this was aluminum. Others I've ordered from Amazon weigh a fraction of the weight and hold the same volume. The thickness is unnecessary for EDC.. you want light. On the plus side, this thing won't break and that may be what you need. For EDC, no. Also, this same one can be bought from Amazon for 1/2 price... I didn't look around (the exact same one which I also ordered but won't like anyhow now)
