I enjoy changing up the spray pattern based on the wind speed. It has a flat pattern I use in wind conditions so I don’t have to refill the birdbath three times a day. When it’s calm, I use one of the higher spray heads, very dramatic!

The birds who visit the birdbath enjoy the moving water. I like that it even works on a cloudy day.

Have these in the pond behind my house. They continuously stop working. I checked filters and they were clean. I live in Arizona so there is gobs of sunlight. When they work, they work well. When they don't work they simply don't work!

It came without certain parts. Reached out to company and they were kind enough to send them. Put it together and it only works if the sun is out 100% and is directly shining real bright on it. Got it on sale. Didn’t think it would stop completely if the sun wasn’t directly on it. Live and learn.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this little powerhouse. I placed it in my bird bath. It starts bubbling in the morning before the sun hits it and lasts until the sun sets. Honey bees drink from it all day long. I enjoy watching them drink from the water as it ripples against the edges where they perch. The sticks work well to keep it centered so the water stays in the birdbath.

I got a fountain similar to this last summer and really loved it, so I decided to add a second one this year. I like this one even better because the little colored flower in the center makes it much prettier than the plain black ones. These only work in a sunny spot, so think about where you want to put it. No sun means no spray so choose your spot wisely! I've tried the fountains that have a separate solar panel, but this type beats that hands-down. The worst part about the other type is the cord, and this is completely cordless, so you don't have to waste time trying to rig some way to make that work. Sure, it gives you the ability to have the fountain in the shade, and that will be great until you trip over the cord or run it over with the lawnmower.It can tend to overspray the dish or birdbath, but it will depend on which spray nozzle you choose and requires a bit of trial and error. There are some little straw-like pieces that are supposed to keep the fountain centered. I've not had much success with that, so if you don't want to keep playing around with it, you can opt to do what I did and just take the foam float out. Depending on the depth of your vessel, you may have to make some adjustments, but this worked well for me in my birdbath, at least for the most part. It does sometimes still "drift" but it's better than when it's floating. Whether you love the float or hate it will largely depend on how you intend to use the fountain.Overall, this is a great little fountain that I can't wait to put out this summer. The soothing sound of the water flowing is so nice in the garden!
