I used the metal cutting blades on thin gage metal that was 8-inches across. I didn’t try them on any metal that was very thick. I thought the blades cut through very well. I made pretty good time cutting through and the blades still looked very good. The teeth were all still intact. I tried some inexpensive blades not too long ago and the metal cutting blades in that set were very bad. I was cutting the same metal as with these blades and those other blades could not make it through one cut. The teeth were almost gone. So, I feel these blades did very well.I usually have at least some scraps of hardwood but I couldn’t locate any in my workshop. I ended up using some pine wood that was 3 1/2-inches across and 3/4-inches thick. Any wood cutting blade in this set that I tried cut through the wood like a hot knife through butter. I mean, it was fast and very smooth and the blades still looked good.These blades worked very well and I was impressed because, to be honest, for the price of these blades I wasn’t expecting too much. These blades are decent quality. I have to say that for the number of blades you get for the price, that this is a very good value for the money.
