Really well built. They don't recommend lapping and I found out why. They didn't need it! Scope mounts differently in them than I'm use to, but still easy.

These are great rings if you don’t wanna bother putting a picatinny rail on your CZ rifle with 11mm dovetail. I love the elegance of their simplistic form factor. None of that tactical BS.If you have a newer model CZ 457 Lux and intend to leave the stock iron sights alone, do NOT get the low rings. Your scope may fit horizontally if it’s small enough, mine did, but it will not clear the sight line of the irons. At lower magnifications, you will see the irons in your objective.Overall great rings, just get the right size.

The high rings allow my Leupold VX Freedom 2-7x33mm to clear the CZ 457 Scout rear sight (with the blade removed) with about 2-3mm of clearance with the scope caps on. Perfect fit for the CZ’s 11mm dovetail. These are pretty stout rings but at the same time they’re very trim and elegant. I have a feeling my scope would break before these rings let go.The only thing I wish was for the finish to better match the 457 receiver and my scope (nitride would do the trick) but other than that they’re perfect for this application.

Mounts directly onto CZ 457 Varmint dovetail. It fits exceedingly better than other rings i have used in the past. Talley makes Leupold, Warne, and others feel like garbage. Using the low rings on a CZ 457 Varmint fits perfectly with a Leupold 3-9x40 VX-Freedom Rimfire. There is a very close gap between the bell and barrel. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Great rings for my CZ 455 American, checked the rings, they did not need to be lapped. Im very impressed with the high quality machining of these rings. They were however a little difficult to install and torque down properly due to their vertical design. But this would not keep be from buying again, love these rings.

I couldn’t be happier with these rings. The fit and finish is spectacular, and they perfectly align with the centerline of the receiver and mate with the dovetail on my CZ 455 Varmint.I originally purchased a set of Leupold 11mm dovetail high rings, and while there was nothing wrong with the rings themselves, the design of the ring base seems to be optimized for a receiver with a rounded top profile. Because of this, when tightening down the ring base, the base would slightly can’t to one side as the curved profile of the center of the clamp didn’t mate correctly with the flat top of the CZ dovetail. I exchanged them for these Talley rings and couldn’t be happier. The vertical split design makes mounting a little tricky as you have to keep the scope leveled while tightening the base screw and top screws evenly, a little at a time as per the directions, but it’s what makes this design center the rings so perfectly with the centerline of the action. I’ll definitet be going with Talley on my other builds. For those wondering, Talley recommends 20 in/lbs for the top screw and 30 in/lbs for the bottom. I recommend a Wheeler fat wrench torque driver to get proper torque. High rings for a CZ 455 leave about 8mm between the barrel and scope with a VX-1 3-9x40.
