I bought this corner round punch for leather working. I was hesitant to spend the money since it was quite a bit more than most of the others you can purchase but I also wanted a quality product. I didn't want to purchase something inferior just to get substandard performance and ultimately spend the money on a better product anyway. I'm very happy I purchased this. It's made in Japan and I find they make high quality products. This edge is extremely sharp and ground very well with a smooth finish. It cuts through leather easily and leaves a crisp edge. Well worth paying up for.

Difficult to make the edges cut at the correct angle. Takes a bit of practice. I learnt that you have to weigh down the leather using the palm of your hand before hitting the punch to make sure that the item does not slip and cause a skew cut. Otherwise great!!! I needed to round the corners on 1/8 inch mousepad material (neoprene with a polyester fabric coating). I tried upholstery scissors and other items with no luck. Until I found this corner punch. It is so sharp and cuts through it like butter. Just one tap of a mallet and it cuts clean through!
