I make my own summer shoes. I wanted very much to have a punch that I could use a mallet with because the hole puncher on the wheel doesn't give me room to apply the pressure needed to make a nice hole in thick leather or Vibram. This is it. Don't want a set of different sizes when I only use one size. PS: whah rah chees.

To think I've been using an ice pick to make holes in material to add snaps to. This thing is awesome.Tip: don't make holes in things on top of your work bench or metal. Use a peice of cheap wood so it's soft enough to go into so it will pass all the way thru your material

Excellant tool! Sharp, Cuts easily and quickly. Costs a bit more than a whole set from another seller and company, but is worth the money. You get what you pay for! Have punched 100 or more holes with this tool, and is is still just as smooth as the first hole that I punched with it. Buy it, you won't be sorry.
