Don't use the size chart link in the description. Size 10 says 30 inch waist. Item was a 32 inch waist (label inside said 32). It was WAY too big for me. Material was soft and seemed decent quality. As others have said though, the straps felt really cheap and I imagine the straps and buckles would not hold up well.

Der Kilt ist superschick. Er fällt tatsächlich etwas größer aus. Damit er mir nicht vom Po rutscht, habe ich in den Bund einfach ein breites Gummiband eingenäht, somit sitzt er jetzt perfekt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist super, der Stoff fühlt sich robust an, ohne zu kratzen, und die Farben sehen ebenfalls sehr schön aus.

j'adore ce kilt , il est en laine comme il se doit bon pas très épais mais vu le prix , il est parfait pour moi , bon par contre j'ai comme beaucoup j'ai commandé trop grand , ce qui n'est pas grave il suffit de découdre un coté des lanières et recoudre un bouton un peu plus loin et ça ira très bien , donc j'ai commandé une taille , heu dans la jupe ils ont marqué 44 mdr , mais c'est BIEN DU 52 la jupe , comme j'avais commandé , le 52 correspondait à UK 24 DONC elle est un peu trop grande ,,,,, pour avoir une idée je fais du 112 de tour de taille et la jupe fait 117 cm au niveau de la ceinture ,,, je pense que pour les rondes comme moi , cette précision peut leur donner , une idée de la bonne taille à commander , sinon la longueur est bien de 51 cm , comme annoncé , bon je suis petite je ne fais que 1 m 58 donc la jupe m'arrive , aux genoux ,,, , je l'ai en plus reçu un jour à l'avance , et l'ayant mise direct pour monter ma belle jupe je n'en ai eu que des compliments , même de vendeuse d'autres magasin d'habits merci d'avoir pensé aux vraies rondes pour cette belle jupe

La falda está bien. El tejido es agradable y cálido, pero nada del otro mundo. La largura fenomenal. El corte de la falda es bonito. El cruce (solape) de la tela en la parte delantera es a mi parecer bastante justito. Lo que menos me ha gustado es el imperdible que trae, de dudosa calidad, y que tras las tiras con hebilla la falda se sujeta con un velcro (creo que hubiera sido mejor un broche metálico)

My wife and I do the Renaissance Faire thing pretty regularly. As my family has a lengthy Scottish heritage, I like to wear a kilt sometimes. Hell, I just like wearing kilts anyway. They're super comfortable, and look great. But, I digress. Anyway, my personal favorite kilt is my Black Watch kilt. I thought it would be fun to get my wife one to match as well. I am glad I did.The quality of the skirt is very high, especially for the price. No, it's probably not as high a quality as you might find, but it's still great. Plus, I wasn't looking to pay $200 for something I wasn't 100% certain my wife would like (it was a gift). I would have not been disappointed if it had cost more, so for the price, I was thrilled. I am quite confident that my wife will get a lot of use out of this skirt.It also looks great. Even ignorin g the fact that it is the Black Watch tartan, it's a great looking plaid skirt. It could easily be used in any number of situations when you would want a wool skirt. My wife has had the skirt for a week, and has already worn it just out and around with a white blouse. I'm looking forward to wearing my Black Watch kilt alongside her at the next Faire we are able to attend.So, if you are a woman, looking to celebrate your Scottish heritage, or a gentleman who wants to have his wife join him in the same, this skirt is a great purchase.

After reading other reviews that said the skirt ran big, I ordered a 4 when I usually wear a 6. It was great advice, because it fits perfectly. The colors are great, the material is heavy enough, but it is not high quality, super heavy material. Then again, I was not expecting that for the price I paid. I am happy with my purchase and got several compliments on the skirt. Looks great with tights and boots. Only downside is the buckles are not leather and are pretty stiff. They do work though, and again, for the price, I am satisfied. I did not get any update on shipping until the day it arrived, presumably because it came from overseas. For reference, I at 5'4" and weigh 122 pounds. The skirt hits just barely above the knee

I wore my new Tartanista Irish Plaid kilt to work (and afterward) for St. Patrick's Day; what a popular tartan it was. This is my second Tartanista kilt; this tartan is a vibrant color, especially when you're wearing it outside. I had a number of compliments, and had lively conversations with the opportunity to say where I got my new kilt. The length is perfect.Tartanista kilts are comfortable; they're very well made, light weight and easy fitting: the combination of Velcro and the belt-hooks allows for a wide range of fits. The belts aren't just there for decoration. For those of you new to kilts, you might be worried about gusts; this kilt comes with a pin for weighing down the front panel; I ran into a few strong breezes, and only had to hold my kilt a couple of times. This kilt looks and feels great - I highly recommend it. Oh- did I mention this one says it's for women? For the guys reading this, a kilt's a kilt: this one is 20 inches long, it's not a mini-kilt, so don't be shy.

I originally ordered this in the 20 inches, but given how I am on the very short side, I changed it to the 16-inch. It fits perfectly! It's right above my knee, has a cute flare. I love how it looks with black tights. The material is nice feeling and a little lightweight, so I would consider it a nice transitional skirt (fall weather, those cooler days where you won't be too warm or too cold). I was so surprised by how well it was made and the way it looks that I might even wear it at work instead of fun days out. It looks professional and polished, so I am happy to have it in my wardrobe! Now I want it in other colors and other lengths specifically for work.This ships from England, too. I was worried it was going to take a long time to arrive, but I received it three days after ordering. Plus, customer service is really nice. So, not only do I recommend the skirt, but I also recommend the seller. :)
