Your cart is empty.Use this router table insert mounting base plate to easily invert any router in a router table. Using this plate will allow quick and easy bit changes, height adjustments and router maintenance. The plate is made from sturdy ¼ inch thick anodized aluminum that will not sag and will resist scratches. Overall size is 9 inch x 12 inch x 1/4 inch thick. It has 3 removable insert rings that twist in place using the included wrench to provide 3 different bit openings (2-1/2 inch, 1-3/16 inch and 1 inch ). These openings will accommodate a wide variety of bit sizes. The 1-3/16 inch ring will accept PC style router guide bushings. Plate comes with a steel starting pin for small and curved work. Plate has predrilled mounting holes to secure to your table. Also comes with an innovative leveling system that uses 7 Allen screws for fine adjustments and rare earth magnets to keep the plate secured to your table without screws. The bottom of the plate has multiple starting holes to simplify drilling the holes needed to attach any router. Comes with all needed hardware to secure and level. Overall size is 9 inch x 12 inch x 1/4 inch thick.

The plate seems well made,nice and flat. But product quality does not make up for bad customer service. I sent the company a request for instructions that explain how to attach plate to the router. The morons sent me a third party link showing how to build a router table!!!!! I don't need a router table. I already have one!!!!! The plate comes with no instructions whatsoever!!! Nothing!!! All I wanted was a set of printed instructions. Taytools is obviously some kind of fly by night company. Avoid them.

I thought buying an aluminum insert would solve the problem that plastic inserts have. Took it out of the box and it fit in my grizzly table but one corner is bent up so it will not sit flush. Called support line and got an answering machine so it’s going back.

I usually don't do reviews unless I'm greatly impressed. I bought this plate to replace a name brand crowned plate. I was limited because of the size of hole that the plate fits into. I drilled the holes to fit my old heavy Milwaukee router, set it in place and made the adjustments with the set screws. Dead flat. Awesome!!!

The plastic plate supplied with my router table had become warped and was no longer flush to the table. This insert was easy to adapt to my router, easy to adjust and improved my routing capabilities. I did need to add Loc-Tite to the set screws in order to hold the adjustment.
