I was surprised at how compact this tuner is.I was also surprised at how accurate it is! The cheap tuners are always “off”. First strum on the strings after tuner made me realize how bad all the others have been.Definitely worth the difference in price.

This is the best tuner. It is simple to use, extremely accurate. I use it on all my guitars - bass, electric, and acoustic. Love it.

Finest, most accurate clip-on tuner there is. Save your money and stop buying the cheap ones that, not only do a poor job of tuning your instrument, but they break down and get tossed in the trash, so you have to buy another one. In the long run, these last much longer and perform far better. I have four that are all over 3 years old and going strong. Highly recommend

I've only owned Snark & the knockoff electronic tuners, which are very useful & economical. But when playing with my friends who use Petersen tuners, I wasn't able to tune to the same accuracy as them. Then I discovered this tuner, which can show the tuning status of all 6 strings simultaneously! This may seem like a gimmick at first, but allows you to strum all strings at once & QUICKLY see if any are out of tune. This tuner also responds faster than others I've used, so I can tune quicker. The display is very bright & easy to read, and I have not experienced any glitches or inaccuracies with it yet, unlike my cheapie tuners.

I own a couple of these and have never had any issue with them. I primarily use them on guitars/basses but my kids use them to tune woodwind instruments (without clipping them onto their instrument, just sitting them on a musicstand instead). While I haven't scientifically tested their accuracy, I've also never questioned my tuning after using one. Occasionally, it picks up harmonic notes when I'm trying to tune my Low B string on my 5-string bass and jumps between the fundamental and the harmonic, but still tunes fine.As to the comment from a negative review about the battery needing a screwdriver to change, that was a relatively recent change due to Australian law (I am told). Any new device that uses these coin-style batteries now needs the battery compartment secured by a screw. The original version of this tuner (the version I own) pre-dates this requirement and does not need a screwdriver to open the battery door.As to the pictures of scratched screens...it's hard to tell from the out-of-focus photos, but is it possible you haven't removed the protective film that usually covers screens on electronic goods? Looks like that to me.I would not hesitate to purchase another one of these tuners. I prefer this design to all other clip on tuners I have used.

It is a bit pricey, but is easy to see, has two separate modes, and is extremely accurate. It folds up small and fits into the pocket of my guitar case. I do not play without using it to check the tuning of my Martin! The shipping was extremely fast, too!

Absolut TOP!

Great product, if someone wants real qualitative tuner this is it. It's the apple of tuner. Tuners response is very quick, it immediately shows notes on display after plucking string. It is very accurate with strobe mode. Notes does not shake while tuning. Very accurate and firm reading. Low "B" string response is also awesome in bass mode. Very sturdy stainless steel clip. And bright LED display which helps tuning on stage very easy and visible.I got it from Alberto Music, packing was really good. Appreciate on it. It got deliver before it's cut off date. Tuner is also working great but I feel that I got the product which was already used before and repack it. It has scratch mark and some patches on it's screen guard. Which slightly made me disappointed. As far as product is working fine I am happy with that. Amazon should look in it and speak with Alberto music about product feedback. Pic is there for the ref.

This is my first clip-on tuner, and I think it's pretty great despite not having anything to compare it to. It seems to be every bit as accurate, quick and easy to use as my Polytune 2 pedal tuner (which I also really love). The polyphonic mode isn't as accurate as when you check each string individually (in fact, yes, the modes appear not to agree perfectly sometimes, as one guy who gave it two stars noted), but the polyphonic function gives you a quick and easy way to see if a string is so far out of tune that you should take the time to adjust it. One strum across all the strings and a quick glance is all it takes to see where things are at, and it's a super fast way to tune all your strings at once if you're in a hurry and don't want to tune each string one at a time to perfection (and if you do, then you may also suffer from OCD). Strobe mode is very accurate, but a little trippy to decipher until you get used to it, then it's very fast (also sort of space-age and fun). When deciding to purchase this I read some reviews that complained that they didn't like the clip, but I don't agree with them. It appears minimalist, functional, and robust. I'm not sure what those other folks expect. From an aesthetic design standpoint, this tuner is a lot less obtrusive and far more slick looking than the other options out there. One guy said he was afraid it could scratch his headstock, but I think you'd have to work at it pretty hard for that to happen.I also read some reviews that complained that the PolyTune Clip was a little fussy about where it's placed on the headstock in order to read all the strings. I found this to be somewhat true, but not an issue for me since it works great on the end of my Martin acoustic headstock, and in the middle of both my Fender Stratocaster headstocks (though not as well on the tip of the Stratocaster headstock where it's harder to see anyway). Others complained that since it doesn't swivel in all directions they didn't like it, but I've not really found that to be a problem for me since the best placements on my headstocks also happen to be in places and at an angle where it's easy to see. I also suspect that if it had another point to swivel from it may not be as accurate and sensitive as it is since more rotating parts means more places to negatively affect the vibrations it's trying to sense. In order to get the most out of it, you probably need to read the manual. I suspect some of the negative reviewers aren't big on doing that, and that's why they're happier with the less expensive clip-on tuners. Or maybe they just got a defective unit, who knows.

Let me start with this; I am a huge TC Electronic fanboy. I own 7 of their products and I love them all.I have seen how good the TC Polytune pedals are but never bought one due to them being too expensive. So when this came out I was interested but originally decided I wouldn't buy it; however when I recently played a show at an outdoor venue and had to hide behind the PA to see my tuner I saw why these are so popular and decided to get one.Let's start with what I like:The tuning itself is uncanny in how accurate it is. This will keep you in great tune even in alternate tunings, the different harmonic resonance usually created by these tunings often will trip up clip-on tuners, but this Polytune handles these with ease. The second as I have already mentioned, is the brightness. No matter how bright a stage you are on you will be able to see the Polytune without an issue (especially if you keep it behind the headstock like me). The third is the design; this thing is solid as a rock, definitely feels very high quality, also it looks awesome. Usually tuners are an eyesore and that is why everyone tries to hide them behind headstocks or take them off or use tuning pedals or whatever; that is not the case with this one. It is very pretty and will fit in against any guitar finish you clip it to.Now on the stuff that I think could use some improvement:First is the switching between polyphonic and needle/strobe: on the higher strings this is a non issue, but on the lower strings the harmonics will frequently trick it and it will switch to polyphonic mode. If there were hardware manual switch/button on there to switch the modes that'd definitely be an improvement. Second, this thing is pretty expensive. It is definitely the world's best clip-on tuner, but still if it were $35 that'd be much more reasonable. All that aside, this is a really good product and definitely worth adding to your guitar-senal (makes a great gift too). I'll be using mine for a long time to come and I hope TC continue to improve it in the future

Me parece que es muy preciso. Me encanta.
