I had wanted these to be able to put random pieces of thread on that I had from a project and I found it not that great because it doesn’t have the slits and without those slits it just doesn’t hold it just slides everywhere and falls out it doesn’t work I might be missing a better way to do this

My first large project! The cardboard thread card sent with the pattern was starting to wear down. These plastic ones are perfect for keeping the thread neat and are sturdy enough for the length of the project!

For many years I have been using rectangles of cardboard and a hole punch to make floss organizers for cross stitch. What a pain! These colorful plastic organizers are so much less work and so much more fun to use. I just used a Sharpie marker to number each hole in the organizer, and put the corresponding numbers beside the color symbols on my cross stitch chart. Works like a dream!

The floss holder fits very well for my needs. I will be able to use it again and again. It is very sturdy. I taped the codes onto the holder next to the floss to make it easier for me to find the thread I need. I am happy with my choice.
