Exactly what I was looking for. I use these for my mullein tea.

I like the material bags are made from. They do not affect the taste of tea.

One the last few years we have started using more fresh loose leaf tea. We have several small businesses nearby that make it now. The strainers we have are very usable but annoying to use and clean.I’ve never used an item like this but gave it a try and.. I’ll never go back. It took a few tries to perfect the system. Basically just carefully spoon your tea in and fold the top of the bag in. I've found that if you put two smaller spoon fulls in instead of one big one, it's easier to control. You can use your spoon to ‘dunk’ while it steeps if you want, just try to keep the bag from rolling over so none of the tea escapes.I’ve started just putting the full bag in my mug, slowly pour hot water on it and let it sit for the appropriate time. Turns out perfectly. Yep, I used to be a 'dunker.'While we don’t compost, these are biodegradable and a good choice for the planet overall. Also, 120 of them for ten bucks? Do that math. There is NO reason not to use these.

I'm a big loose leaf tea drinker, but I hate how annoying it is to clean reusable strainers, so I usually prefer to use bags like these for convenience. I usually buy the Daiso ones since they're cheap, but I no longer live near a Daiso and it's expensive to buy them online...Enter these! Immediately I like them better than the Daiso ones because they are made of cotton (more sustainable) as opposed to the plastic-y feeling Daiso tea bags. They have plenty of room for the leaves to expand and do their thing, and I find that because the material is not as slippery as the Daiso ones I have fewer instances of leaves leaking out of the bag since the coarser material grips onto itself. They work just like any other fold over tea bag (if you're new to these, think the old fold over sandwich bags for packing your lunch) and are very easy. I was a little bit worried about the organic material leaching a taste into my tea, but I've tried this with black and green tea and haven't had any issues yet with them affecting the flavor. Over all I'm EXTREMELY happy with these and will definitely purchase again when they run out!!!

I used to order tea bags with tea from Singapore, I think they are the same. Cotton. They sink in the tea mug, and do not float on top and stain. Very pleased.

I like these teabags. I use them to make eye packs and they are sturdy and they keep the herbs in.
