This was bought to be added to an existing Kable Lite system. The fact that it does not come with a bulb is a good feature for me. I was able to buy a lamp that matched the color temp. of the existing lights and have a narrow beam angle, 25 vs. the normal 40. Works as expected and matches the other units in the system bought 5 years ago.

This lite was an extra one added to the kable lights in our dinning room. We really like them because we have an open beam car deck ceiling.

We love our new Kable Lite system! Our contractor said it was pretty easy to install once the basic wiring specifications were known and planned for. The heads adjust easily and are nice and bright with LED bulbs that can be dimmed. The LED technology allows for dimmers to be used but there can be some flickering of the bulbs at certain frequencies. Overall we are very pleased with this product.

Bought four cable track heads (3.5" cable separation) to replace the existing heads that came with the condo years ago. They work. The heads are very small, so if you're looking to add aesthetic depth you might want to consider different track heads. They are beautiful. Since these heads do not have a covered back, you will find that most MR16 bulbs will emit/refract light with red/pink toward the ceiling. You can find (with some effort) frosted-back MR16 bulbs. We purchased from 1STOPLighting via Amazon.com and the heads did came with an egg crate louvre.
