We've had our coffee machine for MANY years (8ish years) .. a shattered carafe is bound to happen at some point. We've bought two replacements and both have been very good quality that lasted a long time. (breaks were always from us dropping, never due to poor quality)

Since the pot that came with the coffee machine is so cheaply made I ordered a 2nd one to have as a spare. This one is also cheaply made. You'd think a $340 coffee maker would have a better made carafe.

Looks identical to the original (as it probably should). Works well. And it was $5 cheaper to purchase through Amazon that it was to order on the Technivorm site.

Unfortunately my original carafe cracked so nice to get a replacement. Downside is that these Are expensive. Almost price of an entire cheap budget coffee maker.
