I have a 2019 Ford F150 XLT that did not come with a trailer tow package so I purchased this one because somebody told me it was one of the best ones out there and it was worth the value first of all. It comes package like a true professional you get extra attachments if you need it as far as the working on my truck, I had to buy a plug, that will convert it and it works perfect. It looks good and it operates easy and it’s pretty easy to use. I want to say this is probably the best value for your dollar.

Ordered this product specifically for my Ford F150 as seen in all the Amazon adds. Installed, plugged in and truck would not start. Unplugged and truck started!! Hmmm. Having bought a travel trailer and picking it up the next day, I elected to consult the experts at the dealer. They looked at the plug and automatically said it was the wrong plug. Luckily, they were experienced enough to help out and I was able to pull my trailer home with brakes working properly. Not pleased at all that I spent the extra money to be guaranteed the proper harness and DID NOT!! Not sure where this goes from here but believe the company that sent the unit out should pay more attention.

this is an awesome controller! the plug in harness fit perfectly into 2016 F-250. up and running in minutes. two screws and i was done. this thing works awesome compared to the currrt junk it replaced.

I don't have any other experience other than this but it works very well for me and my toy hauler. I love it and I can adjust it when driving for the situation. It mounts easy and is easy to use. Zero complaints or suggestions on how to improve it. It really is well built also and easy to read when driving.

When I received this product, it came with the wrong harness for my truck, but because I needed to use it right away, I made it work with a small modification. I came back from my trip and forgot all about it. BTW, this is a great controller, lots of great features, like the ability to make increase/decrease braking on the go with a push of a button.A few days later, I got an email from the seller asking if I was satisfied with my purchase. I explained the situation and they promptly sent me the right harness. I highly recommend this seller

I bought this for my 2007 F-150. I pull two different trailers depending on what I am doing. I really like that it can store my settings so there is no guessing.Awesome product! A must for anyone with a trailer. Really shines when you have multiple trailers. Easy plug and play

Great product. However when they sent this to me I was sent a super duty ford harness which was no big deal called tech supportand was told instead of sending it back to just to move the white wire to #3 and the red wire to #12 and that fixed the problemjust had a mini screwdriver to push in to release tabs to pull out wires. So If you get one for a ford f150 and your screenflashes and your dashboard does funny things it is the wrong harness . had to clear a code also after it put my check engine light onbut was all in all a very easy fix . very good product

I really like this product because of the extra 'bonus' features, extra pulsed braking - great for keeping a trailer behind you in the snow, or adverse road conditions, the ability to change screen color to make it easier to read, and probably the best features, the ability to just quickly jump from trailer to trailer and the settings are all there, and I am ready to roll. No new programming each time, no 'tasting the steering wheel' or checking how well the shoulder straps on the seatbelts work.The Ford harness plugged right in, and made life much easier- definitely recommended as well.I have a new 33' long camper with electronic brake control, and after my old much shorter camper I was worried about braking. The brake controller made it a breeze, if I see deer along the road I am confident that I can get slowed down quickly!It does cost a bit more, but if you are pulling multiple trailers, a few of the extra 'frills' are worth it like the extra pulse brake feature.Our drive home with the new camper was great, you don't need the pulse braking with regular road conditions and not driving like a maniac (too high a speed to be hauling a trailer). My wife fell asleep on the way back the braking was so smooth, before we were always getting nudged forward with our other camper. If something ever happened to the controller I would definitely get another one!
