These are great. They are form fitting without being high compression and squeezing. They are similar to very thick bathing suit boy shorts. I’m sometimes in between a large and XL. I went with large based on other reviews, and the large is absolutely perfect. I love the waist fit, the length, the thickness.I’m 5’6”, 165-170, wear a jeans size 12, usually wear a large or XL in pj pants and stuff. Hope this helps.I’m

These are amazing for the price and are very comfortable, but where I take points away is the fact that they don't stay in place! They are very comfortable and well made and I've had no problems with quality! However, I simply cannot get them to stay put!I have thicker thighs and I'm no stranger to shorts not staying where they are supposed to be and yet I try and avoid wearing these shorts for long periods of time because of how badly they ride up. They also don't have any sort of drawstring or adjustable waist band to try and keep them up round the waist. Another thing that is a little bit of false advertising is the compression aspect. They are very stretchy and soft and comfortable, but they're also not super tight. In my opinion, they remind me more of thin biker shorts rather than compression shorts or spandex.Overall, would I buy them again? Yeah probably! I love wearing them under skirts and dresses and I sometimes wear them when I'm just around the house cleaning and don't want to risk accidentally bleaching my good leggings or shorts, but I wouldn't just wear these to the gym or to sports practice because again, they don't stay put, I'm constantly adjusting them, and I can't focus on my workout.

My girls have to have Nike shorts for games but these are awesome to have for daily practice! They love them! I’ve been a volleyball Mom for many years now and know there are plenty of things you’ll be spending lots of money on.., so save your money where you can! These don’t ride up, they are not see through, they fit perfectly, and last for years… we’ve been able to pass some of them down through multiple daughter’s… we have, however bought many many sets because they continue to grow and we always know we can count on these!

I’ve ordered these volleyball shorts twice now for my daughter, who is 5'10" and 140 lbs, but we’ve had to return them both times because they were too big. We started with a medium and then tried a small, but neither size seemed to fit right.It's a shame because the shorts themselves seem great. Other customers have mentioned how well they fit, the high-quality stitching, and how comfortable they are. They also appreciate the versatility of the shorts, making them suitable for various activities. The value for the price seems good too, according to the reviews.But from our experience, the sizing seems off, or they just tend to run larger than expected. So if you're considering these, you might want to think about going a size down to hopefully get a better fit than we did!
