I tried the eyepiece on various different object, Messier 11, Messier 51, and it gave crisp, clear views of each object. It gave wider field of views of every object that I viewed.

This eyepiece aboslutely provides the widest true field of view I have ever gotten from my telescope. When combined with a focal reducer, it's like getting a whole new scope! The only downside is that when I combine it with a focal reducer (Orion 6.3 flattener/reducer), I can no longer use my diagonal, as I cna't bring it into focus. If I remove the diagonal, however, there are no problems.Fantastic eyepiece.I would add one caveat - namely, if you are planning to use this with a SCT, make sure the internal baffle tube is wide enough to support such a wide field of view. Otherwise, you may experience some vinetting. I own a 9.25" SCT and it works great.
