Some simple assembly required due to jostling the suspension bearings out of place during shipping. Used these feet to level a turntable platform. Can’t confirm any sonic/sound improvement since I didn’t do a sound comparison test. Works perfectly for my application.

I used these for a few weeks on my bookshelf speakers and honestly can't hear any difference. They arrived a little unscrewed and it took me a few minutes the realign the ball bearings and set the heights appropriately...but not a big deal. They look nice and are machined very well. They are good little "stands" to elevate my speakers or other equipment about half an inch I suppose. But for improved isolation and better audio, they are not for me.

These arrived packed tightly in a nice small-ish cardboard box with pleasing "retro" styling. The whole thing appears to be made of steel, except the rubber pad that grips whatever you put on it.There's a rubber pad, cross-hatched for better grip, on the piece that "floats" on the top.If it was shaken up enough during delivery (we know that NEVER happens with Amazon!) the floating piece may sit crookedly, until you turn the bottom (by the cutout shaped like a "+" that looks like it's made for a giant Philips-head screwdriver, though a short fingernail works fine) until the top piece seats properly. It took me about 5 seconds per foot, but there were no instructions in my box, so I had to figure it out, which is why I'm explaining it here, so you won't have to.Truth is, I don't really notice a difference in the sound, probably because my system already sits on custom-built shelves designed to minimize vibration and coupling to the room, a generous distance from the speakers. I tried putting them under one of a pair of very nice (and 35 lbs per) British bookshelf speakers, and comparing it with its twin sitting on a thin sheet of styrofoam, which I had been using to get the same effect as these feet. The sound was subtly more "solid" with a little more impact in the bass (non-ported bookshelf speakers, not an abundance of low bass) with these feet.Even if your system already has good vibration control, these would be, IMHO, an excellent investment to place under a tube amplifier: not only should they help it last longer, but you might find you're changing tubes less often.TL/DR: if your setup needs something like these, they're a good choice, and should give you a lifetime of service. If you don't need them, they will probably still help whatever you put on them last longer, especially if it has tubes.

Took a little bit to get them assembled and adjusted - once set up and placed under my subwoofer, it helped tremendously keeping the vibes from effecting my turntable.

These were returned almost immediately, they are so bad. Save yourself time and frustration and look at other, better alternatives for about the same cost.
