Like the TI-83 Plus, the Silver Edition has a large, easy-to-read 64 x 96 pixel LCD that fits 16 characters and 8 lines. Mathematic tools are substantial, including viewing equations, graphs, and coordinates simultaneously; advanced statistics and regression analysis, graphical analysis, and data analysis; and tools for engineering, financial, logarithm, trigonometry, and hyperbolic functions. The calculator uses four AAA batteries and one lithium battery for backup. Everything worked, I'm just a weirdo that wanted a see through calculator. I can't blame the seller for sticky buttons.Simply disassemble use alchohol cotton swabs to clean it.

What an absolute waste of money. Screen went haywire after 45 days - conveniently after the return deadline. Utter disgrace that TI offers a poorly made product for such a high dollar value. Straight to the trash.You have been warned.

I bought two of these, one for my son and one for my daughter, we were looking for affordable graphing calculators and were willing to take the risk. I am so glad that we did! They came in “like new” condition and they have been working well. The company even sent additional pencils and erasers in the box with the calculators. This is the best value you can find.

Bought from SyracusCalculus because the price was good for "like new" condition. While the calculator works, it's not close to "like new" as advertised. The rubbers on the case have fallen off and holes were filled with grime and the most annoying part are a few keys that are hard to press, specifically the 5 and 9.

This is a must have if your are taking Statistics; it was a life saver for me! I have not had a problem with it, as it has worked really well. Some people say it is hard to use, but that is because it has many functions and can be used for many different calculations, graphs, etc. If you have a good teacher, they can show you how to use it and you will be fine.

I brought this calculator for an Elementary Statistics Course I was taking. The calculator looked cool and no one had one like mine, but after about 2 months, it would just blink out whenever I was working on it. I changed the batteries, tried to reload the programs on it, called customer support for Texas Instruments, and even went as far as to get an electronics technician to look at it. Nothing helped. I ended up having to buy another one from another store which by this way is hard to do when you are trying not to spend a arm and a leg and you need the calculator for the next days class. This whole this put me behind with my studying but I still made an A in the course at the end...Whoo HOO!!! Next time, I think I will buy a piece of equipment like this new rather than used; it will be more reliable and by the time you buy a used one and pay to have it repaired or replaced, you could have had a new one which is still working with no issues.

This calclator is wonderful. It is perfect (and sometimes required) for my Integrated Mathematics 2 class. It performs simple arithmetic, as well as makes graphing any type of equation a breeze.You can even use this calculator as a toy! You can download games from the Internet and send it over to it with the uncluded USB cable. If you want a game that is only on a friend's calculator, you can use the included link cable and transfer a game over effortlessly. And we're not talking dull games... These are games that I find myself getting addicted to and playing while I'm supposed to be doing other things! By the way, I highly recommend this one game called, "Phoenix."If you're in the market for a good graphing calculator, get this one! You won't be disappointed. It's rugged, reliable, and will last a lifetime.
