I bought this and took the 45 minutes needed to put this together prior to my niece and her family flying back to Ohio from FL. I guess he loves it and it occupied him the whole flight and he's still playing with it a couple of weeks later. I'd call that a win. He's 2 year old sister had destroyed a few pieces, so be aware that things aren't that sturdy.

I love this book it has so many wonderful things in it and my 4 year old loves playing with it.The only thing I didn't like is I had to attach all the Velcro prices myself before he could play with it. But after that it's been great

The topic spectrum that this book covers is broad, which we totally love. You have to apply all the little velcro dots yourself, which takes some serious time. Based on experience with similar dots on other products, I've got some concerns with the durability of the little pieces, but we'll see how it goes.We love the fact that there are individual cards for so many different elements, and the topics aren't just what you might think of for super young kids. The planets? Almost nothing has the planets in it. This book does.It would be nice if there were a clip or something like that to attach the bag of cards/shapes, etc. to the book itself and make it harder to lose things.Overall, we really like this and if it proves to be durable enough to handle 4 grandkids, it'll be a total winner.

Kids love to learn when it is fun. Our toodler loves to do the activities in this book. With the zipper pouch that comes with it, it makes it an easy product to travel with. We use it at home but also like to take it if we will be staying away from home we take it because it is perfect for downtime.
