This is such a great idea. It is perfect for sitting, laying down or setting down on a table so you have a free hand. It is also made really well. I absolutely love it, wing an avid reader it’s my new best friend second to my kindle😉

This is not worth the price of it. The colour is as shown and the material is good. The stuffing is to light and airy that it doesn’t stay in place, toppling over when reading. I will probably replace the stuffing. The clear page holder is good but also is time consuming to loosen the toggle to turn the page. Good concept but way to expensive for what it is, considering you will probably need to change the stuffing.

It's a good product if you're prepared to DIY it a little. As other reviewers said, it's hilariously too light to hold adult-sized books. I bought a couple of bags of beans (like actual beans) to put inside. When I tried to open the zipper, it was impossible. It was covered under a little flap that I could not get to it despite half an hour of me and my husband trying and using various tools including pliers. Ultimately I had to use a seam ripper to reveal the zipper and then discovered that it had no pull tab. I don't know if this is a design choice or a manufacturing defect but it was a hassle and a half and if you don't own a seam ripper or know what a ladder stitch is, you might be in for a rough time. It was extra dumb because there's actually a whole nother zipper inside the first one so I'm not sure why it had to be like Fort Knox. Anyway, now that it's back together and the proper weight, it works great!

Got this for my wife who loves to read in bed. She couldn’t be happier with it. The little shelf on the bag holds her book or phone in many positions.

When I realized how lightweight this product was, I thought it would never be able to balance a good sized hardback book. Boy was I wrong! I am reading a 9” x 12” hardback and it sits perfectly on the Book Seat without falling off or without the book seat falling off my lap. It’s also very easy to turn the pages by moving the small plastic bar in front that holds the book in place. It is definitely saving my neck from too much leaning forward!

I love this product so much!I received it as a gift and also have been gifting them. I love reading in many different positions so this comes in so handy!It's sturdy and soft and holds the pages for you. It's easy to turn pages and houses your open book for you if needed.Perfect for traveling. It's definitely a must for any readers in your life.The color selection is great and delivered on time.I would recommend.

This product is perfect for reading in bed, chair, couch.... The clear "page holder" is the best! Because it's clear you can keep reading the full page. And the page holder is adjustable so no matter what your book thickness is, it will hold it open! The size is perfect too....I didn't want a big table type because they're hard to store. This is the perfect size & lightweight! I bought the purple one and it's pretty much the exact color that is shown in the pics. The only con is the back pocket is too small, but I don't really care about that too much.

Cousin acheté sur recommandation d’une collègue. J’ai des douleurs aux poignets et je ne peux plus tenir un livre en position statique prolongée comme avant. Ce coussin est donc très pratique.Il accommode la plupart des formats de livre bien qu’un peu difficile pour les premières pages des livres de poche, celles-ci ayant tendance à vouloir sortir si elles ne sont pas très bien retenues. Une tablette peut également être installée sur le coussin.L’angle d’inclinaison de la base n’est pas idéal lorsqu’on le pose sur ses genoux et qu’on a les jambes complètement allongées, le livre est alors un peu trop penché vers l’arrière et la lecture en est un peu plus compliquée. C’est réglé dès qu’on redresse les genoux. Toutes les autres positions avec le coussin posé sur un support solide sont convenables.Une fermeture éclair sous le coussin donne accès à l’ouverture par laquelle les mini billes de styromousse ont été introduites dans le coussin. Il est donc possible d’en ajuster la quantité quoique je ne pense pas que ce soit nécessaire, la quantité actuelle me semblant tout à fait suffisante. Cette ouverture est également munie d’une fermeture éclair et il n’y a pas de risque de perte puisque le tissu est fait de suède épais. Il est appréciable d’avoir cette possibilité si les boules finissent par s’écraser.Finalement, une pochette se trouve à l’arrière du coussin. Elle permet de ranger des lunettes, mais elle est trop étroite pour la plupart des téléphones cellulaires actuels.Bien que le livre ne soit plus un poids à soutenir avec le coussin, il faut un peu de temps pour s’habituer à tourner les pages avec le système de rétention. La barre transparente peut aussi faire un peu effet loupe et ça déforme les lettres. Encore là, rien de majeur, juste une petite période d’adaptation. J’ai repris goût à la lecture, c’est l’essentiel! Je suis satisfaite de ce produit que j’utilise depuis quelques semaines maintenant.Je le recommande à tous ceux et celles qui ont des douleurs chroniques dans les membres supérieurs.

It's okay and it does work, but I expected it to be sturdier. It feels like some stuffing is missing or wasn't packed enough before sewing it closed. It tips a little bit sometimes and I have to adjust, but then it stays in place.

As of January 2023 I have had my book seat since June 2022 and it’s been such a handy (I know ironic) tool! IGNORE my cluttered background and you can see how easily this stays in my lap while I read this 700 page novel. I’m over half way through the book making it heavier on the left than the right side but it’s still very balanced. It’s very helpful considering I have carpal tunnel and is excellent when I’m eating but can’t tear myself away from my book. It also fits my moms iPad very neatly so I will probably be getting her one soon since she says she uses blankets. This thing is so light and portable but very durable and once again, sturdy! It might seem pricy but it works TRUST ME. I wish I knew about this thing sooner than June of 2022 and 10 year old bookworm me is *very* jealous.

We were skeptical but these are awesome (we bought two). I had a lot of questions about it before purchasing, so in this review I try to cover those for you.We have the blue and the purple. The light blue one is similar in color to a light-wash pair of blue jeans. The purple is similar in color to a medium to dark amethyst gemstone.The bottom and back are almost one piece the way the item is filled with beads. It is very lightweight. It is comfortable in your lap in any position. I was surprised that they really do stay in place while you are reading, even for several hours, regardless of how you sit or lie down. They conform to your position and easily readjust if you squirm. If you do not support the back of this it still remains upright as placed. Fatigue is greatly reduced in prolonged reading.The books I used for this were medium to large heavy leather-bound books. This would indicate most of what you would find in a chain bookstore would work well with these. The standard American high school textbooks (in my opinion are extra-large) do fit on the 'seat' but the balance is thrown off. I would not recommend this for extra-large books (but a larger version of this particular item would probably be ideal).In addition to the beads there are three stiff pieces of what appears to be plastic sewn into the front. The method of sewing keeps the plastic in place creating the perfect concave place for a traditional book. They are what keep the depression perfect for the book. I wet mine a bit to see if it was cardboard or paper underneath but it did not get soft, hence the belief it is plastic.The piece of material on the top is a loop to hang it up should you choose to keep it away from your cat ;). The loop is sturdy.The pocket in the back is perfect for a pair of reading glasses. It has a velcro closure. A pair of curved sports sunglasses I have do not fit in that pocket, nor would most modern cell phones.I do not care for using a tablet or iPad with this item. The fit and the balance with flat electronics is poor.The elastic and the button holding an acrylic strip at the bottom is of good quality and easily adjusted. Even with arthritis the button is not too difficult to reposition. Tightening the acrylic strip is what locks in the book and keeps the balance I referred to. The mechanism is quite secure.Overall, excellent design and good quality.
