Nice product, this worked well for our puppy for a while, she learned to ring the bells to go outside, but....then she started ringing the bells to get us up to play with her, smart girl:). They worked well for a while, we no longer use them, now she barks to let us know.....and sometimes to get us up to play:)

This method does not work. Nice looking though. We use it every time and our puppy Lulu hasn't gotten anything but standing next to it as a signal to go out.

My puppy went to the door, but if I wasn’t paying attention….well, he left me a surprise. My dog trainer suggested a bell, she worked with both of us for a half hour and then I spent 20 minutes working with him the next day. That evening while watching TV in bed I heard the bell ring and to my surprise, there he was at the door waiting and did his business OUTSIDE! Highly recommend teaching your fur baby how to use this product!! 🐾

I prefer the PoochieBell brand over copies. Had an original one years ago and lost it in a move. Sturdy, bells made in the US. Helping to teach my puppy to go out - also acts as a door bell since the front door is far from the living and sleeping areas in the house.

did not work for us as we needed for patio door - no doorknob and no good way to hang them where she could hit them, but if you have doorknob and train pooch they'd be good

Was having difficulty training our new 3 month old pup to let us know he wanted to go outside. After reviewing other items we felt this one was the best made. Was not disappointed. Very well made and the pup took to them upon learning to bang them for outside potty call. Followed enclosed instructions for a fail safe method, was patient and used reward treats for ringing the bells and successful outside duties.

I absolutely love these bells. I trained my shepherd puppy on them the day I got her home. After 3.5 years, she finally destroyed the first set of bells and so this is now my second one. She loves her bells and she will actually "ring" anything hanging off a door knob at strangers' houses, such as a set of keys or decorative chimes -- very cute and a good behavior! So why these bells over any others? I think it is good to reward the inventor and not cheap clones -- just think, a small investment will change your relationship with your dog for the better for her whole life.
