This tea is a superb example of oolong, one of the best I've had. It is floral and delicate, but with depth and a distinct oolong "personality." If you are an oolong fan, or are interested in trying oolong for the first time, I highly recommend this lovely tea. This is my first purchase from The Republic of Tea, but it won't be my last.

This is not the very best Ti Kuan Yin tea I have tasted, but it is good quality, a delightful and excellent brew. Of the various types of Chinese tea I have tried so far, Ti Kuan Yin is by far the most pleasing and flavorful.A Chinese coworker gifted me with a few small packets of Ti Kuan Yin tea several years ago, and it was a revelation. Till that time I had been a coffee drinker who seldom gave tea a second thought, but this tea was so good that it made a convert of me to freshly brewed loose Chinese teas. In addition to the fragrant, earthy, complex flavor that good Chinese tea provides, there are countless health benefits, new ones are publicized every day. I also find green and oolong teas of all kinds to be wonderful for my mental focus and concentration. I end up drinking two or three large cups pretty much every work day. These quality tea leaves can be rebrewed three to four times with each succeeding cup of tea as delicious as the first.I have not yet found a place to buy Ti Kuan Yin of the quality of those packets given to me by my coworker, but this Republic of Tea product comes pretty close. I have gone through several tins of it purchased from my local natural foods store for a price similar to the present Amazon cost.
