This is a nice thermal binding machine and it works well. I have been making ring binders for participants of a training program that I put on for several years now, and recently found out about thermal binding machines and figured I would give it a shot, since making the binders is expensive and time consuming.I grabbed a package of thermal binders on Amazon and dove in head first into making a book. The process is fairly easy. Make sure to let the binding machine get to the proper temperature before attempting a binding, otherwise the glue won't melt well and the pages won't stick to the binding. You simply put your pages into the binding and insert into the machine. It melts the glue in the binding cover into the edge of all of the pages and binds it just like a professional book. I find it works best if you really tap the pages into the binding several times before inserting it, then tapping again a few times as soon as you remove it. This gives one last shot at inserting the pages when the glue is still warm/wet and makes sure they all set properly before the glue sets. The end result is a very professional looking book that beats the heck out of the binders I was making before. Another bonus is the laminator that is built into the bottom. Knocks out two machines in one!
