I use with a space heater that has a thermostat that sucks and vsries the temperature 20 degrees. This thermostat works so much better and keeps the temp within just a vew degrees. Note that the remote sensor shown was not included but I don't need it anyway.

Love to walk away and it will shut off heater when needed to. Don’t have to babysit

I purchased the Thermostat Outlet for Heater with high hopes of regulating the temperature in my atrium for my plants and propagations. The device itself seems well-made, and the 4.9ft power cord offered reasonable flexibility in placement. The temperature probe was also easy to position.However, I found that due to the atrium's high ceiling, the thermostat outlet struggled to maintain a consistent temperature. The large volume of air in the space likely made it difficult for the device to accurately sense and regulate the temperature effectively. Therefore, the function shut off feature was not effective and did not shut off as expected.While it didn't meet my specific needs in a large, high ceiling open space like my atrium, I believe this thermostat outlet would be a valuable tool for smaller environments, such as a small greenhouse or even a reptile enclosure or a very small room. If you're looking for precise temperature control in a confined area, this device appears to be a good investment. Just be mindful of the space's size and air circulation when considering its application.

We have outside cats that we care for. In the past I have just left a catalytic heater running in the space. With the sensor on this controller I put the sensor right under their sleeping area with the catalytic heater just inside the cat door and close it with the controller inside the house. It has been working great. I will be ordering a couple more!!

The picture of the product I am trying to buy has, on the right side of the illutration, a thermometer that is essential to the working of the devise, as a whole, because it reads the temperture in the room. I am trying to buy this devise to be able to turn on a heater in my greenhouse when the termpeture reaches a certain level. The divice in the box contains the wire, with a socket, to receive the thermometer, SUPPOSEDLY packaged separately since it is more delicate than the main device. I love the device....it just need shipper to send me the other half of the device. [The box is marked as part of a set!!!!!! ]
