The unit I received measured 1130 ohms relaxed and 720 ohms flexed so that the end looped around to the base. Letting it go allows it to relax again and it goes back to 1130 ohms. I am operating it at 5056 mV and used the Excel Spreadsheet "What If Analysis" to calculate the best fixed resistor to be 933 ohms. Maybe an adjustable potentiometer would be ideal to get as much range out of as possible. Whether operating it at 5V or 3.3V 933 ohms should work well (give you best range of voltages from relaxed to fully-flexed of 567 mV).I am using this to sense the body/limb position of a Teddy Bear.

The product looks like a good one, but the packaging, as the photos show, made the flex sensor bend over the maximum angle, so it came essentially broken. Packaging needs to be fixed asap.

I kinda threw mine around and the values changed very slightly but still accurate. Best attached upon purchase for high accuracy.
