Water Requirements

Water your Marble Queen Pothos when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy to prevent root rot. In winter, reduce watering frequency as the plant’s growth slows down.

Sunlight Requirements

This Pothos thrives in bright to medium, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. However, for the best variegation, place it in a spot with plenty of indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and fade the variegation.

Fertilizer

Feed your Marble Queen Pothos every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half strength. In fall and winter, when growth slows, reduce feeding to every 2-3 months or stop altogether.

Propagation

Propagate your Marble Queen Pothos easily through stem cuttings. Cut a section of the vine just below a node, ensuring there are a few leaves attached. Place the cutting in water or moist soil, and roots will begin to develop within a few weeks. Once roots are established, transplant the cutting into a pot with well-draining soil.

Live Plant Buying Disclaimer

Thank you for considering the purchase of a live plant from Thorsen's Greenhouse. We take pride in sharing the joy of plants with our customers and want to make sure you have a seamless plant buying experience! Please read the following important information before making your purchase:

  1. Shipping Stress: Shipping live plants can be stressful for the plant, which may result in minor damage during transit. While we take every precaution to package your plant securely, some soil may shift, and the plant may experience slight wilting, leaf loss, or browning upon arrival. These are normal responses and typically resolve with proper care.
  2. Individual Variation: Each plant is a unique, living organism, and no two plants are exactly alike. The plant you receive may not look exactly like the one pictured online. Variations in color, size, shape, and growth patterns are natural and should be expected.
  3. Minor Imperfections: Live plants often have small imperfections such as spots, tears, or minor blemishes on their leaves. These do not affect the overall health or beauty of the plant but are part of the natural growth process.
  4. Acclimation Period: Upon arrival, your plant may need time to acclimate to its new environment. This period is crucial for the plant to recover from the stress of shipping. We recommend allowing your plant to rest and gradually introducing it to its new conditions.
  5. Care Instructions: We encourage you to review the care instructions for your plant to ensure it thrives in its new home. Different plants have different needs, and proper care is essential for the health and longevity of your new plant.
  6. Non-Returnable: Please note that live plants are non-returnable due to their perishable nature. We strive to provide healthy, vibrant plants, but once they leave our care, we cannot confirm their condition due to the variables involved in transit and acclimation.
  7. Issues? Should your plant arrive damaged, you need to submit a photo of the damaged plant to us within 3 days of the plant’s delivery to be covered.

By purchasing a live plant from our store, you acknowledge and accept these conditions. We appreciate your understanding and are here to support you in your plant care journey. Reach out to us as soon as possible with any questions or concerns!

My Marble Queen philodendron arrived yesterday afternoon and it is utterly Perfect! It was packed so well that even during Thanksgiving, and our winter storms, it arrived without a blemish and quite perky. After a good healthy drink and its first night in new home, it is really a wonderfully happy looking little plant and I could not be more delighted. Highly recommend! Will look at Thornton’s again for sure when a need a new plant. 🌷

I appreciate the color of the leaves. The information I chose the plant from did not truly show the beauty of the plant. I am glad i chose this plant.

The pot was full but it was full of cuttings that had almost no roots. Like they just stuck fresh cuttings in dirt. I honestly don't think it is going to make it. Not a single new growth point anywhere. I may try to root them in water and hope for the best. Will not purchase from here again. If I wanted cuttings, I would have ordered some. For a lot cheaper

The queen marble pothos arrived in perfect condition. It has beautifully variegated leaves, is healthy, and very full (I actually repotted it and made three good-sized plants with room to grow.) Highly recommend!
