I compared this to other rims, including some well known brands. This is the one I went with because it felt heavy and sturdy. This is what I was looking for to replace our old rim.

The enclosed bolts were too big and too short for my backboard, so I had to buy the correct size. The nets are pretty minimal. The rim itself seems to be good quality.

This is a nice rim with an easy assembly however. My rim is 1/2” out of level. The back bracket is level and square with the back board. You can see in the photos that the rim is welded to the back bracket out of level. Also notice how the rear loop for the net is not centered. I expected more for an $80 rim. I take the sport seriously and I refuse to shoot on a bent rim.

I bought this to replace the rim that came with my board. This one is a big improvement in quality. Only concern was that the bolts have round heads so it's difficult to tighten the nut on them, so I just used the bolts from my previous rim. Apart from that, very solid construction. Oh...and my order came with two rims, to my surprise.

The hoop for the backboard and aligned with the holes for the NBA 54” portable goal. The package included 2 hoops inside. Seems like they charged a high price and force you to buy two at a time. Because of that and the hardware issues I would not buy this item ever again. And don’t recommend it.The hardware that was included is pretty bad. The screws were way too long, the threads stop short on the shank so you have to use the included spacers to get the nuts to tighten up. The spacers are terrible. Cheap quality and they have to be cut to size. They’re so weak that getting the bolts snug makes the spacers bend and crush so the screws don’t sit straight because of it. Need shorter bolts/screws and it would be much less hassle to install it correctly.

Excellent product. Girst received rim with wrong hole pattern but once contacted Amazon the replacement was sent and received it two days later. The rim was easy to install on backboard. No instructions were provided. But if have some mechanical skills it it easy . Nuts and bolts were supplied. Great for price.
