The combination of those 2 strings create a setup that has rarely been challenged in the spin category. In addition, Ghost Wire will offer additional control, arm-friendliness and feel to this very unique setup.

Never had issues with any string before this hybrid but after a month I have tennis elbow.

I had this strung on my Wilson BLX 103 racquet, with 4-3/8 grip size. The tension was set to 50 for mains (Vertical) and 48 for crosses. It has been about 4 months playing w/ it and I love how it plays. Gives me the right amount of spin, power and control for my skills.

This is a great string on a budget. I’d still recommend going for solinco or something else if available. But on a budget this is a premium string.

Great all-in-one hybrid stringing kit! 54# mains (FireWire) and 52# crosses (GhostWire) has a nice feel that has been easy on the elbow and shoulder while providing a good deal of spin and power.

I tried this string as a "playoff" against Solinco Hyper-G, which I really like, but was left wishing for a little more flattening power (I reviewed Hyper-G as well.) For reference, I have this in a Wilson Pro Staff 97CV, strung at 52lb mains/48lb crosses. As a former tennis elbow sufferer, was hesitant to go full-bed poly again, but the cross string in this all-poly hybrid softens the bed enough, leaving just a hint of crispness and feedback. Decent spin and can really flatten out both groundstrokes and serves. Spin serves are good, but not as nasty as Hyper-G. Control also suffered (for me) a little compared to Hyper-G, which is a string that can reward even bad swings with a ball that still drops in. And by "control suffering," I mean sometimes it would fly long if my swing technique wasn't right; otherwise, this is a great hitting string.Flattening shots is pretty easy, as well as defensive shots on the run. I like to flick the racket almost like a squash shot, Firewire Boost allows me to do this effortlessly. Here's a short comparison between Firewire Boost and Hyper-G as I experienced them. They are both still competing for time in my Pro Staffs...Hyper-G pros: spin, control, comfort, serve spinFirewire Boost pros: easier power, flatter groundstroke, flat serves, crisper but still comfortable at 52/48Both are very good string combos, so it's they're basically in a playoff to earn the rights to stay in the Pro Staffs. I may actually stick with both and use Hyper-G for singles and Firewire Boost for doubles. Hope this helps,

I love it. Before this, I was stringing with the full bed T1, and I thought that was already my all time string. Now I'm gonna switch to this hybrid. It has nicer control, and still generate a lot of spin.
