We bought these just before going over to the Bahamas. Went out fishing a couple of times. We put up Outriggers and dropped lines. Within minutes we had hits on both outriggers. By the way, these come as a pair. Coupled with the taco rigging kits, these outriggers performed flawlessly. Extended smoothly and locked into place as advertised. I am so glad we purchased these. This is my favorite way to fish salt water. So happy with this purchase.
