Seems like the height of the hat not as tall as my “old” hat that was made in Canada. Thus, so far not as comfortable to me. Still a sturdy hat with the same Tilley warrantee.

These are great golf hats durable, easy to clean and necessary in the sun. They have a great gaurentee, yet I have never had to use it. I normally don't wear them on a real windy day!

Bought this to use on a trip to Jamaca....this hat is worth every penny. It fits great, works great and makes you look great. I was hesitant to purchase because of the price....I normally buy $20-$30 sun hats...decided to roll the dice....this hat quickly has been by Every Day Use hat.....it works great in Rain and Sun.....after getting this one I ordered one for my wife. I found the sizing to be true and fit is wonderful. I wear a 7 3/8 fitted hat and this is right on the nose....snug but not to tight.

This is the second Tilley hat that I have purchased. The first one was done 10 years ago and has gone through the wringer and still keptOn ticking. This one I just purchased is for an up coming vacation the the Caribbean. If it performs up to the standards set out and like my first hat I will beMore that satisfied

This hat fits perfectly and looks great. It is a good travel hat because it can be packed flat but then maintains its shape when worn. We totally recommend this versatile and stylish hat!

I have this in tan and wanted grey. Tilley hats are well made and guaranteed for life. They wash well. I love the little wider brim on this model.

I've always wanted a Tilley hat but couldn't justify the cost. Well I managed to find a great sale price, so I decided now is the time.I agonised over sizing before ordering. My head measures 57 cm which puts me at a 7 1/8" size but that would've be a great mistake. I added 2 cm to my measurement and bought the 7 3/8" size and it's just right. The hat should fit loose enough to easily slip onto your head but not so loose it would fall off if you bend over.I also "tested" two colours. I bought the Olive and the rockface. The olive is a dark colour and when I put both in the direct sun in 90F weather for a few minutes the olive hat measured about 10F hotter than the light coloured Stone Face both on the top of the hat and underneath it. Even after 10 minutes the rockface coloured hat remained ~10F cooler than the olive. Since this is a sun hat I decided to go with the lighter colour, though I really like the olive.I've tested the hat out in direct sun and the brim is wide enough to mostly shield the face and neck. I'd still recommend some sunscreen or using a cape on the back of the neck, especially if you're fishing and looking downward a lot. I didn't feel like I was any warmer than using a ballcap and was even cooler than no hat at all because it blocks/reflects a lot of the sun from reaching my head.Alas, I still sweat heavily wearing it and the built-in headband wets out fast. I can fit a thin additional sweatband under the hat, but not a thicker cotton sweatband. I'm still wondering if I should've gone up to a 7 1/2" to accommodate a thicker sweatband.Either way, a great hat and even better if you can get it on a good sale. They might not carry quite the same quality that they used to, but they're still a high quality item worth buying.

Tilley hats are really good hats. So this product review is a 5 star all day. BUT not the case for shipping, Amazon. It was shipped in a plastic bag, half crumpled, permanently creased, expensive hat to be shipping this way. We ordered the same Tilley hat which was shipped from a different company (GLO) and they shipped it in a perfect sized box, product not crumpled at all.

My husband just loves this hat. He is very fair skinned and burns quite easily. This hat provides protection from the beating sun on the golf course. It’s also nice and light weight and comfortable to wear. Did I mention that it is washable?
