Buyers be aware!Paid for a new device but received a used one.Frankly, the delivery was super fast. But when I opened the box immediately found something unusual: first, the box was unsealed. second, some parts were not in the positions where they should be.Here I'd like to share a few photos for the buyers to show you some signs of usage. As an official seller of Tilta, the condition of a product should be stated clearly on Amazon list, whether it is a new, used or repaired. It is not a good idea to hide this kind of important information to buyers hoping one can't observe it or lazy to file a complain.Yes, I didn't find that there is any functional defects on this item but I'm disappointed with the ways of Tilta doing business.

I was very doubtful of buying this product in the beginning. Many reviews say it's fidgety and unreliable. I've used it in several works so far and it's great. I love to pull focus with the wheel attached to the handle. Or in a shoulder rig with the focus handle. The motors are very strong, they work even with my old Helios 44 which is very stiff, I advise keeping them in the lower settings of torque. On the other hand, it is well-built, quality is top-notch, but it does feel a little bit delicate, I wouldn't want to drop it EVER.I wonder why people criticize this nice fiz system, my only guess is they come from Prestons and Arri systems which are huge and can take a beating. I really like this one, even the type c cableMy only complaint is that it came without the circular screen protectors which I've seen in some youtube reviews

Tried Connecting this system to my tamaron 70-180 mm lens.... it connects to the dial just fine, however, if i use the rocker to adjust the zoom, the motor vibrates and starts blinking a red light, the only way to recover is to power down the motor and power it up again... there is zero indications what is happening and why the motor is going into this state.. the documentation doesnt help either to help narrow this down... this is a great concept, but needs a TON more training and documentation to help users use this.

For the record, I already have a Nucleus M kit. I bought this as a back up set for my kit. But man this thing is really good. Great torque, very easy to connect, and the usb-c connection just coming in handy. (It’s not also easy to get D-Tap connection for Nucleus M like when you’re using a gimbal)

Ordered the Nano 2 out of curiosity and to use it on a shoot for my B Cam, but ended up really enjoying it. The motors are very powerful, much more than the original Nano, and we had stuff lenses so it helped.I liked that I could map the lenses too, which is a great feature for the price. The it was very flexible too, being usb C powerable, so we were able to use it on a gimbal with a bigger camera with an NPF battery plate. The overall foot print is super small, but has a lot of good improvements over the old Gen and even the nucleus M. Good stuff Tilta!

one control wheel can pair with two motors, zoom and focus. There is a rocker for zoom and you can change to the speed you want it to be. It works surprisingly well. If you use it on a mirrorless/DSLR camera, it works just like a powered zoom on a camcorder. You can also use two sets of motors with two control wheel if you want to control zoom on one hand and control focus on another hand.

I like the feel of it, but would not connect to the motor. Then when you try to switch the lights to the focus color, it seems to want to switch colors as you calibrate it. I wish mine would have worked. I have a shoot next weekend, this would have been fun to use.

It has a lot of functions, but also a pretty long user guide. After a few emails with the Tilta support I got the custom-made video to show me the upgrade issue and my Sony FX3 camera control questions. To resolve the 2% upgrade issue, to enter the upgrade mode, you have to hold the motor button and then plug in the cable to port 1, once you see a green light blinking, then you could upgrade. They said they would make the upgrade more friendly in the next firmware. For connecting to fx3 initially I thought I could just do it by Bluetooth or wifi, after I read the user guide. I figured that I will have to use a USB-C PD cable from the motor to the camera. I wish Tilta could make a video just talk about this in the near future.Overall, I am very happy with this investment.

We did some tests with it and love its design, intuitive GUI, and responsive & smooth motor. It's sleek and easy to rig and use. Until we used it on our first shoot and about 20 minutes in it suddenly stopped working. As far as we could tell, it was still connected and everything appeared to be normal, but the motor wouldn't move. The motor didn't die either, because we could hold down the button to have it find macro & infiniti... it would spin just find to find that. But the the motor wouldn't respond at all to the focus remote. We are giving Tilta the benefit of the doubt on this one, as we are still new to using it; perhaps it is an easy fix? But we had to abandon it and resort to focusing by hand for the rest of the shoot. Not a great first impression.
