UPDATE: I CHANGED MY RATING TO 5-STAR. A DETAIL I HAD NOT KNOWN OR REMEMBERED FOR WAKING UP THE REMOTE WAS THE PROBLEM—OPERATOR ERROR. AS STATED EARLIER IN THIS REVIEW, THE TRIPOD DEVICE IS AN EXCELLENT TOOL; A TOOL ANY SOLO HUNTER OR FISHERMAN NEEDS.The Todi selfie tripod I purchased is highly functional for anyone wanting to take good photos without someone else’s assistance; this is why I’m scoring it as a 2.The wireless remote, part of the tripod selfie stick, is a different story. I used it once over the past eight months, and when I pulled it out today for a photo, it was dead. Changed batteries and nothing. This indicates to me the remote is defective. Tried customer service and received no answer.
