Works fine for first use.Disappointed that it doesn't show the camera sub mode and other details that other remotes do show. My fault for not catching that.The camera needs to be turned on once before the remote will be able to control it. True of any remote.Bright display easy to see.Haven't tested on a bike yet.There are better models for the same money.

The remote worked as expected. Build is nice, quality is good. I love how it charges. My only complaint is that you can't use this and the phone connection at the same time. For example. Say you want to frame up your shot, and confirm your zoom. You have to disconnect the remote, connect your phone, then re-connect the remote. It is a limitation of the GoPro, and not the remote, but it is a limitation.

Fa quello che deve fare. Preso per la Hero 11 si è accoppiato immediatamente. Ha tutte le funzioni che mi servono. Sembra robusto e ben fatto e costa molto meno dell' originale.. confezionato bene dispone di tutto il necessario per usarlo. Peccato solo per il cavo USB che ha un attacco proprietario. Se si dovesse perdere o rompere non so se si trova. Sarebbe stato meglio un semplice collegamento USB C. Comunque soddisfatto.

So I got this rather than buying a £79 brand new Go Pro one trying to save some money, it works well, connects easy enough (only does 1 device at a time) can turn the Go Pro on and off and record by pressing the relevant buttons, the settings button will change from video, photo and time-lapse mode but you won't be able to change any settings on the control, but you'd probably have these set up before hand anyway. Not tried it at a distance yet or in water

Only got to use it for a little while. Gopro battery went dead. Will use it again next time hunting, water rafting, glacier hiking, fishing alot of activities. Easy to use and less worries to get it on when things happen

Update!!!! This is the 2nd one I have purchased.. the 1st one died it seemed to get soaked in a rain storm.. unit is not waterproof... The 2nd one just failed... I charge it and it doesn't turn off Get a "CHG" message on the screen after it unplugged from the charger.. and it drains the battery.. this one didn't get wet.. This is the same message that I got on the 1st one..

This is a great little remote. Note that this is not just a remote "button". The display shows the state of the GoPro which is very important. I have used this to film reviews and sport games, when I do not want to run back and forth back to the camera. The fact that the status of the record is shown on the remote means that I am certain that I have started, or stopped, the recording. Highly recommended.I have NOT tested the "rainproof" claim because I do not want it to stop working if it is not weather proof.
