Got this to do night photography for a photo class I'm taking so I could minimize camera shake. Worked great.

I do a lot of product and portrait photography and I’m always concerned about camera shake. This remote puts my mind at ease. Used it for the first time with portraits and once I practiced a bit and got my settings down, it was easy to use and the photos were crystal clear. For the price, you can’t beat the performance:

As far as functionality goes, it worked perfectly fine with my Canon T6. However, I have no clue how the port became completely dislodged from the board on my remote thru normal use. I took all the screws apart to confirm this is what happened and attached an image showing there isn’t very much solder to keep the charging port secure. This is a cheap unit so this could be why this was the case, so if you do happen to buy please be careful when plugging the cable from the jack.

Works perfectly, and much easier to use than magic lantern software

Grate Bang for Your Buck! Well built item. Easy to use. It was compatible with my Canon SL2 but found out it also compatible with my Sony camera.

I bought this device for time lapse and astrophotography with a Canon Rebel T7. I found that the same connector for the device also fits my Powershot G16. Understanding how the controls work took some experimentation - the bad English in the user's manual is inscrutable and does a very poor job of explaining the functions. However, a bit of poking the controls yielded understanding of what is going on. This device pair is not only an intervalometer, but you can use the small remote end by itself as a short cable release without even worrying about operation from a distance. The intervalometer could be used for movie like stop motion sequences as well as time lapse. For $20, this is a stressless, fun addition to a Canon DSLR or powershot camera.

Works as expected on my EOS R6. Good range and function. No setup required, it just works once the receiver part is plugged into the camera body. Batteries are included, both halves use different sizes. The manual is pretty unusable, but thankfully it's not needed-- usage is readily apparent. The basic functions (interval, number of shots) are all I'd normally set. Press the remote shutter to trigger and it decrements through the requested shots. Note it uses the mechanical shutter, not the silent electronic shutter.Once the sequence has run through (or if it's not set), the unit switches to acting like a remote shutter. The remote also provides the partial-press (focus) / whole-press (shoot) function like the camera's onboard shutter. Nice.Unlike my previous (dSLR) line-of-sight remote on my old 7dMk2, this has far greater range (100 ft according to the manual).Overall, it works exactly as I expected, with a little better functionality than I had hoped for. Recommended.

The device is very easy and intuitive to set up and does the job with no fuss...the cable could be a little longer but not a big deal

I shoot real estate for a living and this is a big improvement over my last wireless trigger that had a range of about 10 meters if you were in direct line of sight... so far the range on the T720C is at least triple that and through walls to boot. My only complaint with the trigger (and pretty much every trigger on the market) is that there is no wrist leash... meaning I have to pocket the trigger in between shots. When I am shooting 1000+ frames a day this is a huge time waste that could be avoided if the trigger could just hang from my wrist as I configured my equipment for my next shot. Otherwise this seems to be a quality product and the intervalometer feature is a really nice add in that i wasn't even expecting.Update (11/13/18) I’ve gone through seven of these since my original review here last year and I have a few more complaints than I did originally. First and foremost the build quality on the remote trigger button is TERRIBLE. On average the button breaks and becomes non functional after about 6 weeks of daily use. The longest has lasted 4 months and the shortest just 1 day. Secondly, the fact that the receiver doesn’t have an auto off function built in so that I don’t burn through batteries if I forget to turn it off is a pretty ridiculous oversight.(Update 9/20/19) it seems like the build quality on the trigger button has been improved significantly on the newer triggers. I’ve been using the same trigger for all of 2019 with no issues. With an average of 700+ triggers per day this is huge.I am now just triggering with the remote in my pocket at all times so the need for a leash (for me anyway) is no more. I’ve bumped my rating up based on this and will give it five stars if the receiver gets an auto off after 10 min function.
