This is a nice little remote - simple to use and great for the price. It paired easily with my Samsung S21 and both shutter buttons work for photos or video recording - the app wasn't needed. I tested it at distances up to 15 feet - no problem. Given the price point, I don't expect this to last forever, but that's not a problem for me. In addition to selfies and videos, I find the remote is helpful for consistently documenting a recurring skin issue on my back! Who knew?

unreliable connection to the remote, sometimes it would connect right away, other times it would take a few times to "find" the remote. It has issues connecting to multiple phones, for example, it would connect fine to mine, but then when my friend wants to use the remote, the bluetooth wouldn't connect to their phone. Even when the bluetooth connection is disconnected from my phone. After several uses, the remotes buttons would break and not be clickable, making it useless. Additionally the battery dies really quickly. A rechargeable unit would be niceIf you plan to use this remote often, Id suggest going with a different brand. If you plan to use it only a few times, then you should be fine.

Whenever I would have a party at I would set you my iPhone and/or iPad on the tripod to take pictures and I would always use my Bluetooth wireless remoter to capture the moment. My guest always inquired on where I bought the wireless remote, because it was perfect for the hands free picture. My mother-in-law liked it so much I ordered her this one. This is one of my favorite and cheapest gadgets.

I am using this product with a Samsung Galaxy S10 and both remote buttons work the same way. Each one releases the shutter. When you hold the button, you get burst shots. I havent checked range yet but I dont plan on using it at a distance. The bluetooth switch was easy to set up and it does what I bought it to do. It seems to be a good product. It does have glitches. it usually takes a second after pressing the button to get the shutter to snap, but it is still good enough for me.

I was actually pretty skeptical about this product when I ordered it, I figured it probably wouldn't work, but I figured I would give it a shot because it was VERY reasonably priced and I wouldn't be out that much if it didn't work. Well....it work GREAT! very happy with it. I have an iphone 6s and it took about one minute to set it up (just had to pair it with the phone) and presto - I was able to start snapping pics right away. Super easy and I really like that it has a place on the end where I can thread a fastener through the hole and attach it to my purse, backpack or pants.
