I picked up this AODELAN Wireless Remote Control for my Canon 77D, and I’m happy with my purchase. The ergonomic design feels better in my hand compared to the original (tiny) Canon remote, making it easier to use for long periods. It pairs quickly and works well for both photos and videos, which is great for my needs. One thing I really appreciate is how fast the shipping was. I got mine sooner than expected, which is always a plus.At the time of writing, the price is a bit lower than the Canon's OEM remote, which is the other option I considered. It does everything I need, so I’m glad I didn’t have to spend more.If anything changes, I’ll update this review, but so far, it’s been a solid purchase!

I set this up with my Canon 90D. The instructions to set this up seemed to line up with the Canon brand remote. This makes it handy to take family photos with me in the picture. I can setup a few second delay to I push the button then the photo is take shortly after. Great to save money over the name brand.

Included screwdriver will not work on the battery compartment screw. Quality is so poor that it stripped immediately. Case is not threaded to start the screw. Made in you know where

The AODELAN Wireless Remote Control is a fantastic accessory for my Canon camera (I use it with the Canon EOS R5). It’s incredibly easy to pair with my camera and works flawlessly for taking photos and videos remotely. The range is excellent, and the shutter release is responsive, making it ideal for long exposure shots, group photos, or even shooting wildlife without disturbing the subject. The design is compact and fits easily in my bag. It’s a great replacement for the Canon BR-E1, offering similar performance at a more affordable price. Overall, highly recommend this remote for anyone with a compatible Canon camera!

All functions work and this tiny remote control, including the auto focus and the zoom control. Obviously it will not zoom if you have a fixed lens, but if you have one of the Zoom lens and you hook it up to your camera, the zoom function works. Side adjustment selector also works in all three settings, however, it will not adjust the delay time unless you said it on the camera itself. The shutter button will also work for both photo and video function. It is perfect for adjusting the zoom and focus if you are doing some vlogging or streaming, without walking back-and-forth to the camera to make some adjustments. The pairing and set up is fairly simple to follow, and the buttons are pretty easy to use and very self-explanatory as it is well labeled. It is small enough to conceal in your hand if you're taking self photography or videos. It comes with an extra battery and an extra screw for the battery cover, which is great as it is so tiny that you could easily lose it. It also comes with a lanyard for attaching it to your hand your wrist or your backpack. The only thing I could say would be better is if the side selector switch would adjust the camera automatically. It may work with other camera models, but for the Canon R50 it did not adjust it automatically unless you do it on the camera itself.Overall, for the price being offered when I got it it is well worth the investment and I would highly recommend this to anybody that needs a good reliable remote for the Canon cameras.

Worked with Canon R100 when I figured out how to pair and use it, it works very well.It comes with two button batteries. Because of safety regulations, it the battery cover needs to be screwed in, and it comes with an extra battery and an extra screw. I would prefer no screw, but it seems to be the requirement. The control is very thin, about an inch wide, and the large ring on the bottom of the remote is very practical so I can hold it on one finger. It also comes with an optional strap, so it's very convenient to hold while arranging other things. The remote goes into pairing mode by holding the T and W (zoom) buttons for a few seconds, and in the camera, there is a menu for remote controls under connectivity. It paired right away once I read the manual. In the R100 camera, the remote only works for the shutter when in one of the timer modes: The screen will say timer/remote. It doesn't work in normal shutter mode, and this is a camera setting, has nothing to do with the remote itself. The zoom buttons don't work with my standard lens because it's not motorized for zoom, but the AF and shutter buttons works as expected. The remote is Bluetooth so it's very fast to react.Note that the camera seems to be able to connect to one Bluetooth device at a time, so GPS via the phone app might not be available at the same time. Again this is a Canon limitation not the remote, but be aware.I do appreciate the form factor on the remote, makes it easy to carry in the camera case and very easy to handle by holding it from one finger.
