The fit on the shaft for the timer was loose. It required superglue to stay on. You get what you pay for.

I have two Intermatic timers on which the knobs cracked, preventing me from turning off the fans they controlled before the time was up. These were a perfect fit for the timers. The material seems to be reinforced plastic, so should last longer than the originals. The color is slightly different that that of the timer and switch plate, but it doesn't detract from the appearance.
