Hypoallergenic
Alpaca wool does not cause allergies because, unlike sheep's wool, it does not contain lanolin (a wax that is highly absorbed by the skin and is present in sheep animals).
However, as alpaca wool is an animal fiber, its molecular structure is very similar to human hair and contains microscopic keratin flakes that can cause itching in some skins, also influenced by the humidity of the environment.
If this occurs, we recommend washing the garment with cold water and shampoo, rinse and soak in water with conditioner for 30 minutes, rinse, place on a towel and roll up without wringing to remove excess water and leave to dry in the shade on a dry towel.
Increased comfort
Only absorbs 2% of water in a humid environment, this property allows easy removal of moisture from the body and is pleasant to wear.
Better dimensional stability
The manufactured garments do not lose their original shape after washing.
Simple Garment Care
Can be washed by hand or machine in delicate clothes, with mild soap and water at less than 30C. It is recommended not to wring and dry on a flat surface.

These feel amazing. Very soft. Not as warm as other socks I own (Merino wool). Other negative is they won't stay up on my leg. Constantly having to pull them up. 5 stars for comfort. 1 point off for warmth and another point off for fit.

Wore these and gave them a real stress test on some recent travelFirst off, these are super comfortable and soft. I'm not even someone who values that very much but man they're nice. I wore them on a flight where the AC always blows on my feet and can be chilly, no issues, they're very warm. The wick factor kept my feet dry and fresh for a 12 hr flight and the scramble across a country after wards. I wore them a bunch, while they did pill (it'a alpaca after all, thats what it does), these held up with high durability for a bunch of long hikes. They did get hot... but its summer time and these are both warm and thick. I'll be getting a couple more pairs, great stuff.

Look good and warm , but not very durable for the price, a pair was enough for 4 hikes to get some worn out at the heels and fingertips.

Material is great, but ordered based on my shoe size (7.5) and after 2 wears and washes the socks are so big that they bunch up in my shoes/ boots. I’m going to try washing in hot water to shrink them, but that reduces the fabrics flexibility. It’s a pricey pair, so I’d recommend ordering smaller than normal.
