These boards were missing electrical connections between the holes. Completely useless. I spent a lot of time assuming my soldering job was bad until I broke out the multimeter and realized that no hole is connected to any other electrically (you would assume they would be connected along the white indicator lines). I tried two separate boards in the pack and found the same issue for both.I don't see complaints from others about this, but based on my experience: buyer beware.

I wish I had seen all reviews. After looking back through I noticed my mistake.I bought the 1"x1" variety and while the print on the board might appear that they are, they are NOT common railed. No pad is common to another, in the same row or column. These are pretty useless for my current project.

Finally, a protoboard that seems like it was designed by someone who uses protoboards. This board has a good layout, with a number of long runs that can be used for common power rails, or long signal routing. This can be used to route signal or power under ICs at the center of the board, or along the outer edges. Additionally the conductor strips join 4-5 holes, and are spaced so that when using narrow or wide ICs you still get 2-3 holes to connect components on each IC pin. The form is also compact, with no unnecessary borders. The max IC size that can be placed as-is is 15pins per side (30-pin DIP), beyond that common rails would short pins. However if you drill out the center hole entirely, and open the trace connection, then you can place longer ICs spanning the center. The layout would also lend itself to being cut in half to make smaller half boards. One thing that was not clear when I bought it - the product photo appears to be a render - in actuality the board does have black solder resist on both sides, with white silk screen indicating the trace routes. Hole sizes are okay for ICs and through hole components, but devices with large square pins will need a little effort to set.I would buy these again.

Board burns and melts during soldering easier than some other boards. But I haven't seen any issues beyond aesthetic with the boards

Pitch is off. Not a standard size. Can't mount microcontrollers or power supplies that would fit on a standard breadboard.

These would be great.. but the pitch from row E to row F is not 2.54mm or a multiple there of. This means you can't easily mount common microcontrollers across the two sides for breakout, useless.

Don't hesitate to buy these boards. The price was right so I bought some for upcoming projects, not knowing what I would get. Was impressed with the quality so will definitely buy again.
